→ IP & infra ownership
…it's a pass.
We invest where defensibility compounds over time.

It's generally not a very sound investment strategy to back founders who have a LONG history of soft rugging their protocols; even if the downside is seemingly "protected".
And if you need to give a "downside protection" to convince investors to give you money, there may be something wrong with how you're building in the first place.

I am really eyeing the dexes from Solana and Base during this bear market, as I think they will have the greatest comeback during a bull run. Why? Well, it has matured so much in just 4 years, and the volume will just increase. With the maturity of the industry, we will see more and more projects launch on dexes, which will then attract more mature investors. bullish
