@MindVsMyth @jk_rowling No, history does not show any such thing. Some Gender norms have changed over time but the fundamentals have remained entirely constant. And if trans women are oppressed then wrong as it is it is an oppression specific to trans women and for being a trans woman.

Womanhood is not defined by biology alone. It is shaped by labor, roles, social institutions and power. Trans women are women because they move through the world within that structure and are seen and positioned accordingly. History shows gender is a changing category, not a fixed essence.
