Prince Harry hopes to make a popularity comeback when his book is released. He says: "people don't understand what I've been through and willl get to see my true inner self." Wrong Harry.... some of us just want you to shut up, and enjoy that private life you so badly sought! 🙄

The horrible attack on volunteer ambulances is part of a rising tide of hate against Jewish communities in Britain. As I write, more undocumented young men are crossing the Channel. Many will be from Iran — we have an open door to potential enemies.

The front page of today’s Times newspaper anticipates a big surge in illegal Channel crossings. These pictures tell a story of a national emergency that should be leading broadcast bulletins day-in, day-out. Instead we have a slow-motion invasion normalised by a news cycle that can’t distinguish between what’s ephemeral, and what really matters.

Let’s call this what it is: terrorism. Two tier policing, failure to ban the hate marches and a tolerance of antisemitism have led us to this. Spineless governments -Tory and Labour - have utterly failed to stop the poison of extremism from spreading on our streets. Sick of it.

Before Steve Reed published the official definition of Islamophobia less than a fortnight ago, we effectively had a cultural blasphemy law for Islam. Five years ago today, a teacher in Batley showed a class a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad. The teacher was suspended and forced into hiding. Labour councils in the north of England have issued “advice” to teachers warning that children’s drawings may be deemed ‘idolatrous’ under sharia law. Now, the Shadow Justice Secretary, @NJ_Timothy, is facing calls to resign, has been reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, and has been branded an “Islamophobe” for criticising mass Muslim prayer in Trafalgar Square. The official definition of Islamophobia — now repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — is already being weaponised to silence legitimate criticism and debate about Islam, its practices, and its history.
Robert Jenrick@RobertJenrick

Five years ago today, a teacher from Batley Grammar showed a class a caricature of the Prophet Mohammed. Within days, a hundred Islamists were protesting outside the school gates. Outrageously, the teacher was suspended. The headteacher, Gary Kibble, apologised ‘unequivocally’. It was an astonishing act of appeasement and cowardice. The teacher was then subjected to a campaign of abuse and intimidation, including incitement to violence against him and his family. His kids had to miss school for months. They slept on mattresses in temporary accommodation. An independent probe later cleared him of any wrongdoing whatsoever. Another report likewise found that the school, council and police all ‘totally and utterly failed’ him. Too late - his life was changed forever. Have lessons been learnt from this shameful episode? I fear exactly the same thing would happen today. In fact ‘advice’ has recently been reissued by Labour councils including the one covering Batley, that children’s drawings in art lessons may be seen as ‘idolatrous’ under sharia law. Teachers are even warned that dance lessons could cause parental concerns over ‘physical contact between males and females’. Extremism is being mainstreamed. A climate of threatening and intimidatory harassment is poisoning our institutions. It's antithetical to our democratic way of life. Most of our governing class are simply too spineless to take on Islamists. Look at when I highlighted the chronic failure of integration in parts of Birmingham. I was denounced. And then proven right by West Midlands Police’s admission that violent Islamists living couldn’t be prevented from attacking Jewish football fans. The Police lied and blamed the visiting supporters in an effort to pretend they still had authority in the city. And now look at the reaction of the Prime Minister and much of the media to criticisms of a segregated Iftar in Trafalgar Square. They branded critics racist too. This was despite the Prime Minister himself pulling out of an Iftar in 2021 organised by the very same man, Omar Salha, who arranged this one, apparently because of his Islamist links. We’ve been led by weak hypocrites, who cover up, rather than confront what’s happening. The country is sliding down a dark path as a result. But innocent men and women like the Batley teacher are the greatest victims of extremism, and too many seem intent to forget them. We must defend them and stand up for all those who speak out.

Like so many ministers in the Starmer government (maybe most) this minister — Steve Reed — has no idea what he’s talking about and is totally out of his depth. Which, when the matter is national security, is rather serious.

The Trafalgar Square Iftar was organised by Omar Salha. He backs the extreme UK CAGE. Their research director said Jihadi John was a "beautiful young man." Starmer PULLED OUT of a 2021 Iftar because Salha was there. But he now says it's "utterly appalling" to criticise the Trafalgar event Salha organised?

Car crash interview for Housing Secretary Steve Reed. He branded Nick Timothy’s comments as “racist”. When his lazy accusation was challenged by @CamillaTominey, he referred to other faiths. Christians, Hindus, Jews etc have never had sex-segregated prayers in Trafalgar Square.

I am very wary of reports that the UK is now within range of Iranian ballistic missiles. But if the reports are true, let’s be in no doubt: the UK has no defences against such missiles. No dedicated national ballistic missile defence (BMD) system for intercepting intermediate- or intercontinental-range threats aimed at the homeland. No ground-based interceptors (like US THAAD or Patriot systems in Europe) deployed in Britain for this purpose. In theory our T-45 warships could provide some cover. But most are currently undeployable or not in UK waters. Leaving us defenceless from ballistic missile attack. Another massive military failure of the political class of all recent governments.

UNIVERSITY IN COURT OVER "TEA TOWEL" JOKE! STUDENT SUES ROYAL HOLLOWAY FOR TAKING SIDES IN GAZA ROW Brodie Mitchell, 20, has launched legal action against Royal Holloway, University of London after being suspended for "hate speech". His alleged offence: joking that a pro-Palestine activist's headscarf looked like a tea towel during a campus row over Gaza. Mitchell accuses the university of unlawful behaviour, unfair disciplinary measures and clear bias in the Israel-Gaza debate. The case could cost the university up to £734,000. This sadly has reinforced the belief that many universities are pro Palestine/Marxist

The Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper, condemns ‘reckless’ Iranian strikes on Diego Garcia. Her response: 'We continue not to be involved in offensive action.' She admits that we are under attack but won’t do anything in response. So spineless. We need a general election!

In case your’e wondering, the UK-has: - no exo-atmospheric Anti-Ballistic Missile interceptor system - No layered missile defence architecture - No integrated national system protecting our cities or infrastructure. Our best system is the T45 Destroyer with the Astor/Viper. But it’s primarily a fleet protection asset. The fact is that we and Europe depend heavily on US detection, US interceptor missiles and platforms, and US command architecture. The harsh reality is that capabilities amongst European states, incl. the UK, are very limited and patchy indeed.

Tehran to London is 2,754 miles. Just been disclosed that Iran fired two ballistic missiles at our Chagos Island base of Diego Garcia 2,400 miles away. One was shot down, the other fell short. Clearly the ambition is there. I always viewed these global terrorists as our enemy. When a missile lands in Guildford so might you.

This is an incredible statement from a British Foreign Secretary. Literally acknowledges our interests, allies, global partners, global shipping and the wider Middle East are under direct attack from a hostile state. Then emphasises we will not take offensive action to deter it.
