BREAKING via @CBSNews: Part of Trump's speech Thursday night will touch on previously unreported Chinese meddling in U.S. elections, sources told me. Some evidence shows Beijing compromised U.S. voter data -- and evidence the CIA knew about the action and didn't share that information with Trump during his first term, per sources. Cabinet officials are expected to be in the audience during his remarks. Among those invited are the heads of CIA, FBI, ODNI and DHS, as well as other agencies and staff. Some cabinet members will not be there due to scheduling conflicts, I'm told.

Technology is making the world worse. Nothing good has been invented in the last 25 years. Superfluous, spurious innovations that seem impressive at first, like the iPhone, take back more than they give and ultimately benefit only oppressive governments and their oligarch allies.

Today we sent another letter to @TheJusticeDept and this afternoon, SDNY called to inform us they will NOT cooperate and will not support the only active criminal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

24 hours after proposing it, President Trump drops his demand for a 20% toll for cargo going through the Strait of Hormuz. Instead, he says, "Based on highly productive conversations with Middle East leadership, I have decided to replace the 20% United States Reimbursement Fee with Trade and Investment Deals that the various Gulf States will be making into the United States."

Steve Jobs used to go around to his engineers’ computers and take RAM out of them (back in 1989). Heard this story from the original Mac team. Why? Constraints cause innovation. Silicon Valley knows this, or should. Go talk to Russian programmers who are often running tech companies about how they learned to write tight code on shitty computers. Taking away NVIDIA’s best cards from China will prove to be a remarkably stupid move for America. That just motivated nerds in China.

Mike Johnson says that the Pentagon is requesting an additional $350,000,000,000 for things like "fighting Communism on our own shores"
