whats the deal with "player creativity and expression"? who gives a fuck? a game is a set of rules combined into challenges that you have to overcome in order to get to a finish line, sometimes those rules are more robust and allow for varied solutions but rigid design isnt bad

Gonna be a dark day when we finally get a Fallout New Vegas sequel in like 3-4 years and it underperforms because everyone waited too long and the demographic that adored NV has just aged too far out of gaming to play a full length RPG.
