@Obong_Frederick @IsaacRober4689 @wolfofx Apply for jobs in Japan. When you get a job, the company will sponsor you for work visa. This is step one.
English

@IsaacRober4689 @wolfofx If you have at least a Bachelor's degree, you can.
English

@wolfofx Everytime I see a post about how nice Japan is I just want to move there permanently
English

@xxsmelly_melixx @spectatorindex It's easy to move to Japan if you have at least a bachelor's degree. But having a pet is going to be a challenge(it's not easy finding an apartment where foreigners are allowed without a Japanese guarantor and allows pets.).
English

@spectatorindex I would move to Japan if they made immigration easier 😭 please let me live there with my cat. I want to leave my country and Japan is so beautiful/innovative it can’t go extinct.

@RaraSensei I am looking to move to Japan to open a bar, so I want be in the corporate system but would love to know like top tip for someone who is getting ready to move there
English

@SuperDorian64 @lumy_bell There's something more important than Japanese skills: a bachelor's degree. Without one, you can't get a work visa. And it is more effective to pick up Japanese while living in Japan. So stay at a share house or a guest house with English speaking staff for first 3 years.

English

@keehommunist Right. To be honest, I only know people from English speaking countries who succeeded in Japan. And most of them moved here without studying Japanese. They either stayed at share houses or guest houses with English speaking staff, or company housing at first. Most had IT skills.
English

@keehommunist This is true for the majority. But there are special cases. If you have special skills, you don't have to study Japanese. You'll get your own personal assistant and accountant.

@carolmswain Thank goodness 😅 we only want smiling happy faces of people that truly love the country they are elected to serve. Unlike these 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

What is it about Japan that this works?

Apple Stores in Japan don't lock up any of its products because theft is so rare
English

@MENAhouritsu @japantimes My advice to new people, just stay at a share house or guest house with English speaking staff for at least 3 years. That way, you'll pick up Japanese fast, and you'll learn Japanese etiquette. And yes, don't expect Japanese locals to speak your language. Don't be arrogant.🙂
English

@japantimes I don’t see how it’s realistic to expect local society in Niigata to suddenly learn English. And it’s a very welcoming country even given the English language limitations of the people. For those who want to move to Japan……. Maybe learn Japanese?

The Indian-born head of one of Japan's most famous snack brands has warned that the country must change its mindset and admit more immigrants to get the economy back to the glory of its boom years. jtim.es/3BvulCj
English

@BenPierce1776 @GClassIvan @AdamCrigler Yeah, Japan is terrible. So stop coming. 🤣But on the serious note, if you're not doing well at home, you probably won't do well in Japan. So get real. In my case, it took me more than 10 years to make it here. I have my own accountant and a personal assistant, so all good here.
English

@GClassIvan @AdamCrigler LOL no one want to move there?
I live in Japan. Half the people I know want to retire here. The resident process and the tax burden make it extremely challenging. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
