Paul Pierce says he thinks LeBron James should retire: “Just like for the simple fact that at the age that he still receives the criticism that he still does. The greats wasn’t getting this criticism late. Nobody was criticizing Kobe when he wasn’t going to the playoffs in his last year. They was just enjoying his moments. Like the same with Jordan in Washington… For the simple fact the man is 41 and we still critiquing him like he 25 and should be winning championships still.” (Via @kg_certified)

Remember when LeBron "saved" the 35-47 Lakers by improving them to 37-45? I remember AD arrived, was the best Laker all year, led em to 52-19 and was the best player in the bubble Mr. Insecure felt slighted by people saying this and when the Lakers won the bubble, first thing his lameass said was "I want my respect too" 🍅🍅🍅

David Adelman is expected to return as head coach of the Denver Nuggets for his second season, per @BennettDurando “Despite chatter that Adelman may already be on the hot seat one year into his tenure, the early sense within the organization is that he’ll return for his second season. He led the Nuggets to 54 regular-season wins with 28 different starting lineups before wiping out in the playoffs.” (denverpost.com/2026/05/01/nug…)

I’m assuming you haven’t actually read anything on the Russia situation they found no direct evidence that the campaign directly worked with Russ Russia plenty of evidence that Russia was actively working to support the Trump campaign You should really do yourself a favor and not speak on things that you very clearly have not even slightly looked at

@NervousNood13 @tomstakes Nick Foles has nothing to do with anything. We can say forget the NFC East. How many active starting QB’s in the entire NFL have won a Super Bowl and SB MVP?

Eagles owner: We love Jalen Hurts and have confidence in him. Eagles GM: Used assets to get WRs, RBs, OL for the past several years. Eagles players: Voted Jalen Hurts a captain for 5 years straight. Nameless faceless sources: Jalen Hurts isn’t really that popular in here.

@daniel_rotman15 @velvetmilkman0 I remember the days that QB’s were judged on wins and losses and what they did in the biggest moments of big games. Nobody takes credit away from Joe Montana for having Bill Walsh and the elite team around him. Not saying Jalen is Joe so don’t get all bent about that comment

Consistently echoed by @velvetmilkman0, and it is a great point: Most fans don’t even care about their team. They care about their QB. I’m not sure why Eagles fans wouldn’t be more content with the reality that their GM is capable of assembling a roster that can win a SB with an average QB. It makes recurring success in the future more likely. It’s also a big reason why the Eagles won a SB years earlier with Wentz/Foles. He’s a great GM capable of doing it. Credit to Seahawks fans. They are the rare fan base that has properly allocated credit where it is deserved. They aren’t talking about Darnold in a way above reality.

Mainstream media finally realizing that Jalen Hurts is a limited QB who is masked behind stoic quotes, good aura, a Howie Roseman-built superteam, and the wrath of Eagles fans who will attack you for saying anything negative about him. Today is a good day for real NFL discourse.
Jeremy Fowler@JFowlerESPN

Our latest at ESPN Jalen Hurts stands at a crossroads. Despite his immense success, sources say he has a hand in the Eagles offense becoming calcified and frustrations have grown. With @Tim_McManus espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

@FB_FilmAnalysis Yea but Russell was better and people didn’t know how much he relied on his system yet. If Hurts goes anywhere else and the system isn’t fine tuned to his skill set he immediately becomes a below average quarterback

@JFowlerESPN @Tim_McManus Eagles could have given him an extension this offseason and chose not to do so. That is very telling. Dead cap is manageable to move on after next season too. Next year is absolutely a prove it year for him or Howie is moving on

@subsix848 @bstokley14 So the population going from 550k when you started to live here to over 3 million today has little to do with it? It’s just a policy issue? You seriously believe that?

@bstokley14 Lived in Denver for last 25 years, worked downtown, still work near it…anyone who says it hasn’t gone dramatically downhill is in total denial or hasn’t lived here that long. Yes part of it has been “growing pains” but it’s mostly progressive politicians, policies and voters.

My point is Downtown Denver has progressively gotten worse over the years not better. I used to love going downtown. How many businesses have closed downtown recently? Why? What about all the homeless and druggies that are everywhere? I don’t like bringing my kids downtown to see people shooting up drugs and going to the bathroom out in the public. That shouldn’t be acceptable. I’m sorry if you’re okay with that but I’m not

@HankVenture5 @SuperMaxie23 @DMacSportsCO Denver does have some problems no doubt. Here’s the thing though…every big city has similar issues. We can talk about yesteryear and say how great it used to be but fact is in 2000 the population of Denver was 556k. Today it’s over 3 million. More people more issues.

Downtown Denver is an absolute shit hole and anyone who claims otherwise is peddling something. There are 10,000 homeless in Denver (730,000) which is one of the highest per capita in the country. These idiots are gaslighting you.

Just reflecting on how great it is to go to downtown Denver. Avs tonight, Nuggets on Friday and Sunday. Rox opening day. 63k for Soccer today. Endless bike paths. My oldest son has been downtown for four years. Love downtown Denver and only gonna get better with Burnham Yard. One of the best cities in America. Excited to be there again tomorrow.

This is why Bruce is a douche. And he had the nerve to sing songs about being patriotic. Yes, Bruce Springsteen was drafted, but he did not serve in the Vietnam War. At age 19, he was ordered to report for induction. He successfully dodged the draft, later admitting he was a "stone-cold draft dodger" by failing his physical exam due to a concussion from a motorcycle accident and pretending to be unfit for service.

Why? Why is he a “douche?” Because he disagrees with you politically? That’s why? So people who disagree with you politically are douches? Man, that’s messed up & that’s why this country is so dangerously divided. Grow up.
