I live in Victoria, BC - named after the same Queen Victoria. When I was a kid, I thought that Victoria Day was a civic holiday, not realizing that it's a national holiday in Canada. 😅

@dezmondOliver The only excuse for looking at your phone at your daughter's gymnastics practice is if you are taking photos or videos. More than 15 years later, those are priceless...

Was watching my daughter’s gymnastics practice. Every single parent sitting on the bleachers was looking down glued to their phones. Imagine when you were younger, doing a sport and having so much fun, you look over at your mom and dad excited to see them looking back at you seeing how proud they are of you, and their heads are down staring at their phones, not watching you, not cheering you on, not happy to see your accomplishments. You have no idea the negative impact that will have on your child’s life. They will remember that forever.

Update on the lime tree situation: Grow lights are up and doing their job. The tree on the right, which arrived essentially leafless, is growing like crazy. No longer snow on the ground. Will be building them a permanent stand once the rain stops.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t care about wifi on planes. When I ride a plane, I am glued to the window, staring outside the entire flight in absolute awe

@JPWildlife_BC Getting great photos like this bald eagle are so incredibly hard to do. You must be using a large format sensor, big lens and fast shutter speed.

@LhommeDesole Wow.... Only 300 km with the Model Y LR is 💩. I've still got 85% capacity with my 2019 M3 SR+ that has 330 km range with a 52 KW battery, after 80,000 km.

@davidelewis Yeah, but 70% is garbage. The car is basically unusable by that point. It’s a 2024 Model Y Dial Motor Long range, LG battery, 91,000km

I’m just going to keep reporting my appalling charge rates and tagging Tesla all summer until my car ends up getting towed for a battery replacement. My road trip in June is gonna suck with only 300km of range and 40 minutes from 13% to 80% charge times.

Looking at the windshield near where the crack starts it looks like there is an impact mark. I'm guessing that we had a rock hit the windshield probably on Saturday since I did hear a pop, but then something happened overnight like a temp change or something, which caused the windshield to crack. When I washed the car on Monday I didn't notice anything and when I put the car away yesterday afternoon I didn't notice anything but it was sure noticeable when I got in the car today.

Sigh went to pull the Tesla Out of the garage and there is a big crack in the windshield. It was fine yesterday when I put it in the garage. Last thing I need to deal with is getting a new windshield.

@dezmondOliver To think that I bought my first TSLA shares in 2016 for $217/share. That's about 30x growth in 10 years. With hindsight 20/20, I should have bought much more! I doubt that this kind of growth will be repeated again in my lifetime.

If TSLA never had any stock splits, a single share today would be worth $6,425

I've got the same HW3 and Intel MCU in my 2019 Model 3. Fortunately, I haven't had a glitch as bad as this. It definately looks like the screen buffer is not refreshing. Older variants use system memory with some 2021 Model S/X units equipped with an 8GB GPU. Which model/year do you have?
