African and European leaders will soon gather in Luanda, Angola for the 25th AU–EU Summit, marking 25 years of partnership between the two continents. Do you think the AU and EU should be working more closely together to tackle global challenges? act.one.org/survey/au-eu-s…

This May, the One Health Society commemorates World Mental Health Awareness Month, endorsing "Turning awareness to action." Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) cause severe physical and profound emotional/social distress, impacting work, marriage, and social roles. While NTDs are linked to poor mental health, the focus often remains on leprosy. To truly improve lives, mental health and stigma must be core to all NTD strategies. Our Fellows for the Youth NTDs Fellowship 2025 are taking a lead in raising awareness on the link between Mental Health and NTDs. Let's act for holistic well-being. @WHOAFRO @ntulikapologwe @NGDIUBC1 @DNDi @DNDi @ummymwalimu

We’re excited to have been selected as one of the #TrinityChallenge Youth Funding Competition 2025 Winners out of 80+ application Globally. Our project employs a multimedia and multisectoral Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) approach to promote sustainable farming practices that mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR) risks. Through radio broadcasts, social media outreach, and community dialogues, we ensure wide reach and engagement, with local influencers amplifying key messages. These efforts complement the Tanzania National Action Plan on AMR (NAP-AMR 2023-2028) and the One Health strategic plan (2022-2027) strategic objectives by raising awareness, strengthening knowledge-sharing, reducing infection risks, and promoting responsible antimicrobial use in agriculture. By integrating RCCE strategies, we drive community-led solutions for sustainable AMR prevention. We are fully dedicated to aligning our eforts with the global action plan, the Jeddah commitments, and the #UNGA79 political declaration on AMR, ensuring that AMR interventions rehe community level. Our goal is to leverage insights from this project to champion domestic sustainable financing through the Tanzania Parliamentarians Alliance for AMR and to secure strong political commitments that will advance the AMR agenda. We are grateful for the funding support we received from The Trinity Challenge, @TrinityChall which will be instrumental in advancing AMR efforts. We look forward to working with our local community to tackle the #AntibioticEmergency through improved biosecurity. #TTCYouth @ntulikapologwe @WHOAFRO @gabbystern @WHO_Tanzania @wizara_afyatz @NyamburaMoremi @UKAMREnvoy @ReActAfrica_RAN @ICARS_global @GLGAMR @drclstbg @GlobalFund @GlobalOHC @FlemingFund @LacunaFund @FAODG @WOAH_DG @ProfJanabi @Dr_JeanKaseya @AmrefTanzania @ndeky @HamisiMsagama @officialsamwelc @TumainiMakole @Ciheb_Tanzania
