@altcap The Chinese have recently witnessed tech lift many out of poverty. Americans feel techs intense greed pushing them towards poverty.

AI is deeply unpopular. According to Pew, sadly only 17% of Americans think AI will have a positive impact. In China, 83% believe AI will be positive. A token tax & political backlash is coming unless the narrative changes. 🇺🇸👀🧐

Travis Kalanick is one of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time. The bad guys took his company. But they never broke his spirit. He rebuilt from scratch. And now he’s back.

@MartinIturriBi @anymanfitness In some ways I agree with you. I might still be using nicotine if I still felt all of the benefits I once felt from it. But after about two years of usage those benefits seemed to completely disappear. All I was left with was poor sleep, constant heartburn, and depression.

I truly wish you the best and success in your journey. I can see you’re a man that prioritizes his health. All I can say is, as a lifelong smoker, I once quit cold turkey for 7 months and didn’t break once. It just wasn’t worth it. Nicotine has too many benefits and I don’t care if it gives me cancer when I’m 80

Ok gang… it’s embarrassing but I have been addicted to nicotine since the age of 16. First it was dip Then it was smokes The last 10 years it’s been pouches I’ve tried to quit a dozen times. I make it through the 3 day withdrawal hell fine. Then the weekend hits and I fuck it up. I usually fuck it up when I have a beer or spirit on Saturday night. Even 1 drink amplifies the urge to use nic 100 fold and I crack. So I’m going raw for the foreseeable future. Zero artificial dopamine sources. No nic/weed/booze. I’ve never been clean of nic long enough to feel the benefits of sobriety from it. This weekend I crack the one week mark. Haven’t had any since last Saturday night. Wish me luck, and join me. F*ck that awful substance.

@Trndk1ll @anymanfitness Time to rip the bandaid. 10 days of hell for a lifetime of freedom. 18 days clean right now. It’s so worth it man. If you have any vacation time banked, I would use it to get a 4-5 day window to get through the worst of it.

I made it to 43 years old never using any nicotine. I’m an air traffic controller and work a lot of night shifts. I started using 3mg Zyns only on the mid shift about a year and a half ago. It does work for keeping you up and alert. Flash forward 18 months and I’m going through 20 6mg pouches a day. Worst decision ever.

@anymanfitness Hell ya Bro I used pouches for 5 years. Probably about 40 mg per day. 18 days clean right now. I was basically a zombie on nicotine. Now I’m back to finding pleasure in the little things. Keep it going. Got a lot easier at day 10 for me. It’s so fucking worth it.

@bencera Can you clarify this once and for all? Is this revenue from people signing up for Polsia or revenue from apps ALL users is generating with Polsia. You keep posting these with no proper answer.

Today is an extremely important day A massive, landscape shifting technology is about to drop OpenAI will release ChatGPT 5.4. It is rumored to be the greatest AI model ever made. It will potentially have a 2 million token context window. It will be able to come up with novel ideas. It might even be open source. If you are not actively canceling everything on your calendar in order to use this technology and see what it's capable of, you will be relegated to the permanent underclass when the singularity hits A few times a year everything changes. OpenClaw was one of them. GPT 5.4 is another. During these events you MUST take action. You MUST see what's possible. First things I'd do if I were you: 1. Feed it all your goals and ambitions. Ask how it can help get you closer. 2. Give it your entire todo list, see what it can knock off 3. Plug it into OpenClaw and give it the most complicated tasks you can think of 4. Have it open next to all your work. Feed everything you do through it See you on the other side.

@VibeMarketer_ Advice for ‘finding the task’? I’m struggling to convince businesses to let me come in and poke around to audit their operations.

if i was starting from scratch right now, this is exactly what i'd build. pick one company. find the task their team does 50+ times a week that everyone hates. the thing that's too messy for zapier but too repetitive for anyone talented to want to own. lead research. client reporting. content repurposing. invoice routing. every company has at least three of these buried in their operations. build a system that does it. not a product. not an app. just a system that runs, handles the work, and pings slack when it's done. charge them to build it. charge them monthly to run it. now you're not a freelancer or an agency. you're the reason that task doesn't exist anymore. stack 10 of these at $2k/mo and you're at $240k/year. the systems mostly run themselves. you're not trading time for money anymore. the surface area is insane right now. a lot of companies wants this, almost none can build it. nobody's talking about this. (i'm talking about it.)
JC@shiftj

New pattern I'm seeing in YC companies: a lot of them are operating more like agencies than software companies. Custom workflows, custom automations for each client. The intent is to productize eventually - but day to day, they look like an agency.

Apple just won the AI war They announced the MacBook Pro M5 Max What would have cost $40,000 to do with Nvidia chips, now costs $3,000 with a laptop • 4x faster AI speeds • Up to 128gb of unified memory • Frontier intelligence on the go The biggest complaint about Apple before was their AI speeds You get insane memory to run big models, but the inference was super slow Not anymore Apple played the long game by not spending trillions on AI researchers. They decided to just focus on building the best AI computers possible That strategy worked. It's over.
