@AlJean But y'all won't ban the Kevin Spacey or Aerosmith episodes? F**k you. Simpsons hasn't been funny since the 90s. Shoutout to FAMILY GUY.

@stationerycar @Polit_eurOpines @MorlockP How do you figure? The eradication of polio is the extinction of the poliovirus. Which is only possible because humans are the only carriers of polio (it was the same with smallpox) If there are animal carriers eradicating a virus is exponentially more difficult, impossible even

yeah, the FDA allows a certain amount of insect matter in EVERYTHING because agriculture is an industrial process explain to me how you can run 5,000 tons of grain through a combine, then a tractor trailer, then a dump gate, then an auger, then a silo...and have 0.00000 insect
Edward A. Perin - Psychologist@DoctorPerin

So it turns out the little allergy I started having to drinking coffee pod coffee is a cockroach allergy! Apparently the FDA allows a certain percent of ground insect matter into coffee pods and that percentage isn't zero! Grind your own beans folks

@WhoshtInMypants @CompletedStreet Concrete skid marks go beyond the edge of the picture, so it took a while to stop. Good thing no one was on the bike lane in front of it.

@kentookal @CompletedStreet Provided he can drag himself out from under the car first. Using barriers that render a car uncontrollable is not safe for anyone, in the car or on a bicycle.

@sebn3 @CompletedStreet Are you? Using a barrier that renders a car uncontrollable as it passes over them is not safe for anyone, whether in the car or on a bicycle.

@PussyDe36818229 @CompletedStreet Do you really believe rendering a car unable to stop or steer as it enters a bike lane is a good thing for cyclists? Others have suggested bollards, which would actually keep the car out of the lane. I would also suggest rumble strips just outside the bollards as a warning.

@voteLabonte @CompletedStreet This picture is a pretty damning indictment of those barriers. The car is fully in the bike lane, and in a completely uncontrollable condition, were it still moving at speed.

@CompletedStreet Honestly though what's the point of those barriers? Just the right shape to make a car uncontrollable (accident). Not big enough to really deflect incoming cars (accident). Not really super visible either (accident). These seem like an accident waiting to happen.

@George_Da_Gorge @cafreiman I would suggest people working jobs where labor supply is extremely high aren't the ones producing thousands, or even hundreds, of dollars of value per hour for their employer.

@cafreiman No, you're off this time. It's supply and demand, value only creates a ceiling on price, not a floor. A water bottle has very high value but sells for cheap because of high supply. Labour selling for $15/hr has to do with high supply of that labour, not low value created

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: If your employer isn’t paying you anywhere near the value you’ve created, it’s in the interest of a competing employer to pay you more. If someone is auctioning off a $10 bill and the highest bid is $8, wouldn’t you offer $9?

@TheMintMan_Mark @DelusionPosting Instead of saying "hey, maybe this poll showing a 14-point leftward shift in one of the most conservative states in only 2 weeks is an error" they said "if Iowa shifted that far left, every other red state must have shifted at least that far!" and then extrapolated the error.

Asians not eating loose rice with our hands doesn't mean we "want to be white". Hand shovel is primitive and uncivilised. Ergo, Jungle behaviour. Jungle Asians have no argument so it always comes back to white people. Chopsticks were invented 1,200 B.C. It's so all tiresome.
