Still need to pinch myself sometimes: We’ve raised $4.600.000 pre-seed with Schematik. It's time to make hardware less hard :)

The easier building gets, the more everything looks the same. It's bugging me, so I'm starting my own design system so I can carry a consistent style across projects and keep iterating on it. Calling it Grove-ui — built on Base UI primitives.

S3 is the perfect place to store data, until you try to search it. I built Firn: open source, multi-tenant vector + full-text search on S3, inspired by turbopuffer. foyer (RAM/NVMe cache) + LanceDB (S3-native storage) + axum REST API. 100k vectors: ❄️ Cold S3: 25.1s 🚀 Warm cache: 72µs 350,000x speedup github.com/gordonmurray/f… #RustLang #DataEngineering #ObjectStorage

SF Chronicle's top 100 restaurants has 4 Indian ones 4) Copra - extremely overrated! 62) Vik's Chaat - consistently decent cafeteria-style restaurant, there should be more of these! 70) Eylan - haven't been, I like the sister restaurant Ettan 92) Keeku da Dhaba - haven't been

@dnmjd think it’s much better to do $100K-$250K, no opt-out … and set expectations right

every workflow at every company is different. ai agents are great when equipped with the right tools and connected to mcp. but to truly unlock depth in real-world use cases, you need three things a) open agents - bring sane defaults, but let users configure every aspect of the agent b) modes - matching real world modes users are in c) observability on usefulness

I've been building a demo (/side-project) with @ElectricSQL, @tan_stack DB + AI, Durable Streams, Yjs, and something else... This is something I've wanted to build for ~15y. It is *insane* how productive you can be with @cursor_ai. Will show next week!
