આજે અમારા લગ્નના ૮ વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થયા. સદેહે આજે "પ્રજ્ઞા" નથી ૮ વર્ષ પહેલાનો સમય યાદ આવે છે. પ્રેમ,અહોભાવ અને કૃપાના વરસાદમાં હું મારી જાતને ધન્ય માનતો. પ્રજ્ઞાની હિંમત પર આજે પણ અતિશય ગર્વ થાય છે. અમારા લવ મેરેજ હતા. ETV માં જર્નાલિસ્ટથી કારકિર્દી શરૂ કરીને અનેક ચેનલ સાથે તે જોડાયેલી. હું હિમાલયની યાત્રા કરીને આવ્યો હતો, અને એ પછી અમારી મુલાકાત થઈ. પહેલી જ મુલાકાતમાં મેં યોગીઓ &યાત્રાના અનુભવ શેર કર્યા. ત્યારે હું કશું જ નહોતો ના પદ, ના પ્રતિષ્ઠા પણ તેણે કોઈ પણ શરત વગર મારો સ્વીકાર કરેલ. જ્યારે લગ્નની વાત આવી તેણે ઘેર નિર્ભયતાથી કહી દીધું — "હું લગ્ન તો વિવેક સાથે જ કરીશ" અને તે જ તેના મમ્મી-પપ્પાને મળવવા મને પોતાના ઘરે લઈ ગઈ. મેં તેઓ સામે તેના જ ઘરે લગ્નનો પ્રસ્તાવ મૂકેલ.ને કહેલ કે " સામાજિક રીતરિવાજ મુજબ પણ મને એક પણ વસ્તુ કે પૈસા/ધન ના આપવા એ મારી પ્રથમ શરત છે" આ સાંભળીને તેઓ અવાક થઈ ગયેલ અને કહે કે "દીકરીને અમારે કઈક તો રિવાજ મુજબ આપવું પડે ને!" પણ પછી થોડા સંકોચ બાદ તેઓ રાજી થયા 📍 ૧૮-૦૩-૨૦૧૮ ગિરનારની ગોદમાં, પૂ.ભાઈ (નાથાલાલ જોશી )ના જન્મસ્થળ ની સામે આર્યસમાજ જુનાગઢ ખાતે અમારા લગ્ન થયા. એ વખતે મારુ ડેપ્યુટી કલેક્ટર તરીકેનું રિઝલ્ટ આવી ગયેલ આને મારુ પ્રથમ પોસ્ટિંગ પોરબંદર. એ છોકરી પોતાનું બધું છોડીને મારી સાથે પોરબંદર આવવા નીકળી પડી અને મારી આધ્યાત્મિક યાત્રામાં એક સહ-પ્રવાસી બની ગઈ.તે હંમેશા મને "દોસ્ત" જ કહેતી. આજે પાછું જોઉં છું ત્યારે સમજાય છે — જે હું પુસ્તકો, શાસ્ત્રો અને લોકોમાંથી શીખ્યો, તે બધું તો તેમાં પહેલેથી જ જીવતું હતું. ૨૦૨૨માં તેને કોલોન કેન્સર ડિટેક્ટ થયું… જ્યારે મેં તેને કહ્યું — “તને કેન્સર છે…” તેના ચહેરા પર એક રેખા પણ ન બદલાઈ. કેન્સરની અસહ્ય પીડામાં પણ… તે કહેતી — “મને મૃત્યુનો જરાય ડર નથી.” ડોક્ટરો સમય મર્યાદા બતાવતા રહ્યા…હવે માત્ર ૩ તરહી ૬ મહિના... પણ એ દૃઢ મનોબળથી ૨ વર્ષ જીવી, છેલ્લા શ્વાસ સુધી એ જ હિંમત, એ જ ખુમારી… "પ્રજ્ઞા" — નામ જ તેના સ્વરૂપનું પ્રતિબિંબ હતું. મને તો લાગે છે… કોઈ ઋષિ પરંપરાની જ્ઞાની આત્મા હતી. મને હંમેશા તેના પર ગર્વ રહેશે. આજે સમજાય છે — અમારું ૬ વર્ષનું સહજીવન… ૬૦ વર્ષ જેટલું સમૃદ્ધ હતું. ઋણાનુબંધ પૂર્ણ કરીને, મને માર્ગ બતાવી, તે આગળની અનંત યાત્રામાં નીકળી ગઈ… હે સાથી, તને મેરેજ એનિવર્સરીની શુભકામના… તું જ્યાં હશે, ખુશ જ હશે. ખૂબ વ્હાલ, ખૂબ પ્રેમ, અપણે ફરી મળીશું — નવા રંગ-રૂપમાં… આ જ અનંત યાત્રામાં… ~ વિવેક (૧૮-૦૩-૨૦૨૬, બુધવાર)
