@Reil76 True, but what this shows is that isn't a conspiracy theory. This is a policy change that is being seriously considered by Canadian M.P.'s.

Let’s clear something up about MAID in Canada. It does not apply to children. You must be 18 or older. Mature minors do not qualify. Full stop. It does not apply to people simply because they are poor or struggling. To be eligible, you must have a serious and incurable illness, disease or disability, be in an advanced state of irreversible decline, and be experiencing intolerable suffering that cannot be relieved in any way you find acceptable. Financial hardship alone is not a criterion. It is not a rubber stamp. Approval requires assessments by two independent practitioners who review your medical records and confirm you have seriously considered available treatment options. When death is not reasonably foreseeable, a minimum 90-day assessment period is required. People whose only medical condition is a mental illness are not currently eligible either, that eligibility has been postponed to March 2027 while further safeguards are studied. You can have moral or religious objections to assisted dying. That is a legitimate position held by a lot of Canadians. But spreading misinformation about what the law actually says is not an argument. It is just fearmongering. Know wtf you are talking about before you talk about it.

@Barbarajdurkin @alex_fasulo So stupid. Ontario did this with the Green Energy Act. Forcing industrial energy projects on communities that didn't want them created a backlash so large that no new wind & solar contracts were signed for 10 years.

Good on the leaders from Genesee County for standing up and announcing enough is ENOUGH with the solar wasteland ORES has forced into Western New York. Please watch the segment below. Their towns have been destroyed. Town leaders don't get a say in what happens to their towns. The Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES) was created in a way where it supersedes all local laws, moratoriums, and zoning. It also supersedes our entire @NYSDEC. As the bureaucrats at ORES will tell you, our local laws are "cumbersome" to them. They needed a way to crush home rule. So the one-party-rule legislature in Albany created ORES in 2020, snuck through in a budget bill on April 2, 2020. This is the result. These people will not stop until every town in New York State looks like Byron, New York. To everyone in Byron and Genesee County: I am so sorry you had to go first. I am so sorry your county has been the guinea pig for a dystopian, globalist, and demonic agenda that's been pushed out of Albany. What we are actually witnessing, in real-time, is the greatest wealth transfer of our lifetimes: generational farmland is moving from families to foreign renewable developers. Everyone must wake up to this and soon. It's never been about the panels themselves. whec.com/top-news/news1…

@nickcapra_gpc @CTVToronto The Financial Accountability Office report looked into the subsidies & found expensive wind & solar contracts make up 45% of the $6 billion subsidy costs. Nuclear is not mentioned at all in the report as it's not part of the subsidies in any way. fao-on.org/en/report/ener…

@CTVToronto $300M???? Ontario tax subsidies towards nuclear power is over $6Billion a year. That’s on top of what everyone pays on their monthly bills. Nuclear was and still is a money pit rabbit hole. Perfect for a corrupt politician to take advantage of.

Canadians want us to be bold. To do big things. That's exactly why Ontario is moving forward with the @Bruce_Power nuclear expansion — Canada’s first large-scale nuclear build in over 30 years. @fordnation is saying yes to 18,900 net-new jobs and made-in-Canada power for 4.8 million homes. 🔗: news.ontario.ca/en/release/100…

The Green Ribbon Panel, led by Chair @jscongack, brings together leaders across industry, labour, Indigenous partners, and government — all united by one mission: getting big projects built faster and strengthening Canada’s energy future. Had a productive roundtable at #CNA2026 with @RudyCuzzetto on how #OntariosNuclearAdvantage is putting 150,000 Canadians to work and unlocking $800B in economic value. We agreed to work together to develop a long-term labour strategy that keeps the skilled women and men in the nuclear sector employed for another generation.

@GasBuddyGuy Wow, diesel's more expensive in Michigan than it is across the border in Ontario. Has that ever happened before?
