@eagle_left @AlexJKelly I try not to hate anyone who hasn't actually done anything bad. I think we probably just disagree about factual claims. We trust different sources and have been convinced of different facts. I'd be happy to chat about things if you want!

It is extremely amusing that @AlexJKelly is, like me, a fan of Daryl Davis, who is a famous proponent of the power of conversation, but that, after I found this thread because I searched for Davis's name, I cannot talk to Kelly because he has apparently already preemptively blocked me because of something I posted at some point.

@jx @BYDCompany @Tesla Supervised means simply look ahead. You can do literally nothing & relax, not even touch the steering wheel. Kia can’t do that or there’d be proof. Multiple videos on YouTube in 2026 of people using FSD from west coast of US to east coast w/out touching the steering wheel once.

My 2022 Kia Soul can also drive across the country under supervision. But that's the trick, FULL Self Driving isn't supposed to be supervised. If I still have to watch for all the stuff the car might not see then I just need to drive myself and not deal with the added work.

> I don't trust any government with all of my data, but it's the cost of being a part of modern society Uh no we could have regulations that stop this. But the government actually LOVES us having our data raped because then they can just buy data on us and don't need a warrant anymore. But we could absolutely have a 'modern' society without this bullshit.

@HilzFuld The enduring provenance of this exact zero statistic is what makes the New York Times libel so absurd and outrageous. The Arabs and Marxists literally accuse IDF soldiers of racism because the rape count has been zero.

No IDF soldier has ever raped any Palestinian. Period. End of story. And if you think a dog can rape a person, you’re different level ignorant. The entire blood libel of sexual violence by the IDF is the mother of all projections. Like many other things, want to know what Israel’s enemies are guilty of? Look what they accuse Israel of. Full stop. It never happened and never will. - The end

@k1rallik Thanks to the fear you anti AI morons drum up, the gov will now be trying to regulate that AI to only say whatever the current admin and ruling political party approves of. Appreciate that.

do you understand what just happened to your computer.. Google Chrome secretly downloaded a 4GB AI model onto your device. Without asking.. Without telling you.. It's called weights.bin. It lives deep in your system folders. It powers Gemini Nano - Google's on-device AI. And if you delete it? Chrome re-downloads it automatically. Like nothing happened. Just Google deciding your hard drive is their storage unit. At 1 billion Chrome users - that's 4 BILLION gigabytes of data pushed silently across the internet. The carbon footprint alone equals tens of thousands of cars running for a year. Check your disk right now: 📁 %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\OptGuideOnDeviceModel To stop it: chrome://flags → disable Optimization Guide On Device Model → restart Chrome → delete the folder. Reshare so people know what's sitting on their computers.

Google Chrome is quietly downloading a roughly 4 GB AI model to many users’ computers without clear upfront consent. The file, called weights.bin, is part of Google’s Gemini Nano on-device language model and lands in the browser’s user data folder under OptGuideOnDeviceModel. It powers built-in AI tools such as “Help me write,” smarter tab suggestions, on-device scam detection, and page summarization. The download triggers automatically for devices meeting minimum hardware requirements, and Chrome often replaces the files if deleted. While the model processes data locally, installation happens in the background with minimal notification. The scale is noteworthy. Hundreds of millions or billions of installations add up to thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions globally from data transfer, even though each is a one-time event. To prevent or remove it, go to chrome://flags, disable the entries for the optimization guide on-device model and Prompt API, restart the browser, and manually delete the folder.

@chunster @FoxfordComics The White Man alone possesses a unique desire to explore the unknown. The explorers were some of the bravest men to ever live, and all were White. In the same vein, this is why the space race is dominated by Whites and why White Men are the only people to have walked on the moon.

Always hilarious to me that China and India didn't even know this massive continent in their backyard. And then some English dude from the other side of the world just came along and yoinked it.

@souljagoyteller Because as horrifically evil as Hitler was, he at least pretended for the public he didn’t want to kill all Jews while he was killing all the Jews. Given the ability, Khamenei would’ve killed them proudly and openly.

You listen to normies who aren’t super into politics describe why they’re anti-Israel and you realize most of them have just never been challenged on it by anyone around them or any of the media they consume.
