When Opus 4.5 came out, it was a one-way door to a new way of engineering. Agents now do most of our coding. Knowing the inherent flaws and over-confidence of LLMs, we sent a clear message to our teams. Vibing and mission-critical infrastructure don’t go together. We’re sharing some of our early internal guidance in how we’re “agenting responsibly”, prioritizing security, durability, and availability at all times. vercel.com/blog/agent-res…

pretext can parse the entire Bee Movie script in 42ms and lay it out in 1.8ms this library isn't about silly text wrapping. I have an idea why this was created - video incoming

@ospfranco I’m from Spain and this is really sad, administration seems to ignore the problem mostly. I once had to help the cleaning lady in my old job by writing a script to be able to fill a form fast enough once appointments opened before it was already taken by these bots. 😅

I've been trying to get an appointment to get a id number in Spain for weeks There are scumbags out there that sell you a spot for 50€ I was looking into automating this for myself and fighting fire with fire Found the open source repo that they are probably using ↓ 🫠

Our launch video went viral today on X. How much did we spend on this? $0. Just me and my brother in the office with a ring light and iPhone camera over the weekend.

Just spent an amazing 2 hours of my Sunday time watching @dhh interview by @ThePrimeagen and @teej_dv. I won't make a quick summary of the talk, you just have to experience it yourself. Otherwise, it'll do an injustice to the charisma and experience of the speaker. But I do want to mention one thing that resonated with me the most: Humans are really bad at predicting how they'll feel in a certain situation. Unless you actually use a new programming language, a new programming paradigm, or go through a new life-changing experience, the best you can do is either guess or be a laundering machine for other people's thoughts. I used to dunk a lot on other programming languages and other programming paradigms (e.g. dynamic typing) non-ironically (shitposts aside, I actually used to believe that some of the popular languages are inferior). But there's a unique virtue in recognising that people may have different preferences and different tools resonate better with them. Anyway, go watch this interview! You won't regret it. youtube.com/watch?v=mTa2d3…

For the last 10 years, I've managed servers for @levelsio (Nomad List, Remote OK + PhotoAI), Ghost and many others. I've learnt a lot, and met a bunch of helpful people, so I thought it'd be nice to have a community dedicated to server problems: ⚙️ serverhelp.co Post the problems/questions you have, and me and everyone else will try to help. I'm also working on troubleshooting guides + recommendation docs for the best server management tools. Currently $1/mo to avoid spammers and gauge interest whilst I'm bootstrapping the site :)

A rainy day in Brooklyn led to a new project. An AR pinout overlay using the Metro M7 board from Adafruit. This was built in SwiftUI and UIViewRepresentable to merge UIKit views. It tracks well if I say so myself!

Over time I have become a test driven developer. But only because I'm not doing React/UI code any more. It's easy, fun and actually useful being able to write simple, small and targeted unit tests.
