The cybertruck seats kind of suck tbh. If a vehicle costs 80-100k there must be atleast an option to get seats made from endangered animals instead of ‘vegan leather’. And the cooling/ventilation doesn’t really work.

Just sold all my GOOGL, I realized I haven't used a traditional google search in weeks. Love owning a company that has its hands in and excels at everything but pretty much 65% of their revenue comes from ads which I think will lose relevancy over time.

It is crazy to me that a company that purposefully does not let their clients own their website or ads accounts in order to make the relationship as sticky as possible and avoid transparency for clients somehow consistently is a "leading partner" for so many groups- pay to play?

My biggest concern for Ai isn’t the loss of white collar jobs. I’ve always advocated for creative destruction. My concern is that most of the jobs that are being replaced are the entry level positions that give young professionals their start and understanding of their profession.

@Jack_Raines I built one for myself that is essentially an ongoing brain dump that it self-organizes over time. If I have a certain thought about a certain business or certain part of my life, it will automatically correctly categorize it.

Interesting product idea that I would use: voice dictation journal, like a Kindle, that you can use like a diary. Doesn’t have LLM access, just quality voice-to-text transcription model allowing you to document your thoughts in real-time.

"AI SEO" is not a real thing Every week I see someone selling a "ChatGPT ranking strategy" like it's some secret playbook Here's the truth: ChatGPT pulls from Google. From your website. From your reviews. From your content. If you rank on Google, you rank on ChatGPT. If your website has real content answering real questions, ChatGPT will recommend you. There is no separate algorithm to hack. There is no AI SEO secret. Do real SEO. Write real content. Get real reviews. That's it. That's the strategy. Anyone charging you extra for "AI optimization" is selling you something you already have if your SEO is done right. Stop falling for new labels on old tactics Nothing has changed just minor tweaks in existing strategies

I love when sales teams reach out acting like they know everything about my HVAC company and my personal background, then proceed to try and sell me staffing services or marketing analytics. It's funny to watch them squirm after telling them I spent 15 years in the staffing industry with the last 7 years building data, AI and marketing analytics platforms prior to deciding to be an HVAC guy. Oops.

@guessworkinvest use a different tool, or use incognito window, and ask "whos the best tree service in seattle?". It will spit out, rsults, ask how it got to those results. then ask how it weighted each factor. then ask why it didnt recommend Blooma if it didn't

@ethanwrighttx I guess what I’m confused about is how to ask it that question as a “neutral” asker — like ChatGPT and Claude both already know I own Blooma Tree.

Has anyone found strong educators/practitioners teaching SEO for AI chat platforms? And are we calling it AI Chat Optimization (ACO)? Trying to prepare Blooma for clients to find us on those platforms, not just search engines or Google Maps.
