Wow @linode after being purchased by @Akamai hit a new low. Card payment failed, all my sites deleted. Apparently I can still restore the last image to a new node with different address. Good to know which services to avoid. Migrating the f out.

@linode I saw it only when the linode got destroyed. Normally there is a grace period.
