Barriendo la dignidad de los envejecientes.
El viernes acudí a una oficina del Intrant a renovar mi licencia de conducir, ordinariamente la renovación es por 4 años, pero en esta ocasión me dijeron que en mi caso solo podía ser por 2, en vista de que ya cumplí más de 65 años y que después de esa edad comienzan los achaques de salud que ponen en peligro el tránsito vehicular.
No sentí ningún enojo, aunque me frustró saber que en nuestro Estado Social y Democrático de Derecho no todos somos iguales ante la ley, como lo señala el artículo 39 de la Constitución que, entre otras razones, prohíbe la discriminación por motivo de edad. O como de forma reiterada ha sostenido el Tribunal Constitucional, el Estado no solo debe abstenerse de discriminar por edad, sino que tiene un deber positivo de protección reforzada hacia las personas mayores.
La edad no debe operar, por sí sola, como una presunción administrativa de incapacidad. Cuando se discrimina por la edad, se barre la dignidad de los envejecientes. @INTRANT_RD

Yesterday we got a couple of POP/SMTP service without WHM/Chanel service. That indicate it is possible a partial recovery so why @hostgator @HGSupport still causing so much damage to small companies, no calculating loss revenue. If we don't get service tomorrow and continue without issuing digital invoice goverment can sue us. This is serious.

Zero updates and appears no progress being made. The class-action law firms are circling. Complete incompetence on display.

At this point this is a @Hostgator issue exclusively, all other hosts have resolved their issues. There is a good chance that all of these sites have been wiped from their servers and are looking for an explanation that limits their liability.
I have little hope that the sites will be restored.

Zero e-mails updating the situation, daily support chats (whose transcripts are emailed), multiple PM with you on this platform...and nothing. It is time for HG to begin providing real answers beyond cut-and-paste ones.

It very sad to know that a major server provider like @HostGator struggling to migrate it's own server date to new one even though target server is outdated and existing @cPanel vulnerability, i still doubt your support team even know about basic of blocking and whitelisting ip

To escalate: Log into your HostGator Customer Portal (portal.hostgator.com) and open a high-priority ticket with your VPS ID/server details + CVE-2026-41940 reference. Call support at 866-964-2867 (24/7) and ask for escalation on the outage. Live chat on hostgator.com works too.
If you have SSH/console access, try running `/scripts/upcp` as root first per their KB article. They're restoring servers in batches—check your email for updates. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear about the downtime costing you big. This ties to the widespread cPanel/WHM CVE-2026-41940 exploit (patched late April), where hosts like HostGator restricted access on VPS/dedicated servers for security. No public exact count for HostGator-affected sites, but multiple VPS users are still reporting email/cPanel issues days later.
HG says most are fixed—check emails/status or push support for your account. Hang in there.
