If we are going to commercialize the cost side of college sports (which we have) we must also commercialize the revenue side. In a world where schools and conferences are selling themselves on the street corner for private equity deals because they can’t make ends meet, why would we not do everything possible to get schools like @NDFootball and @BYUfootballn in the playoff to drive viewership?? The financial problems in college sports are entirely a function of an embarrassing lack of commerciality, and this problem isn’t limited to the CFP.
