If you think the message of the 12th fail movie is to prepare for the UPSC exam,then you are totally wrong. It's message is much more than that. The movie has a lot of good messages but the most prominent one is having the ability to survive any condition in life with an optimistic attitude . Coming out stronger after every challenge and not compromising with one's own ethics and morals for short term benefits. While going for the final interview Manoj had a chance to hide the truth that he failed in 12th but he chose to speak the truth and face the consequences. Even though he was warned and suggested to not speak the truth he did not compromise on his morals. This quality is rare today! What a movie!
