@john_hodgers@BradyReeks@Chiefs@Browns Yea but they had a solid CB room last year and missed the playoffs. They choose to not keep their CBs, make a trade to get more picks, then deal those picks for… a CB? Odd strategy when they obviously have greater needs; Edge and WR1.
@hawkswin2008@BradyReeks@Chiefs@Browns Rewatch those games. There were games also where the defense made a stop, offense didn’t score then defense was relied on again to make a stop and when they didn’t they took the blame
@john_hodgers@BradyReeks@Chiefs@Browns Rewatch the tape in 4th quarters of 1-score games last year. The overall stats don’t tell the story but when it mattered most we have no QB pressure and lost at least 5+ games bc of it
@RomeroMikey@Retardmaximus@CollinRugg It’s really not that complicated to add a mechanism that, when resistance is felt during the seat lay flat operation, it revert to an upright position until the path is clear.
Huge miss by the engineers / safety team.
Toddler suffocates to death after being crushed by a folding seat in a Hyundai SUV.
Lucia Ayala died by mechanical asphyxiation after a button to lay down the back seat was accidentally pressed, trapping her under it.
“It’s one of those things where it’s really a freak accident where, however the button was pressed, it went down and essentially crushed the child,” said Akron police Lt. Michael Murphy.
Hyundai has now recalled 70,000 vehicles and stopped production of certain trim levels of the Palisade due to safety concerns over an “issue with the second and third-row power seats.”
One Palisade owner showed just how dangerous the seats can be by crushing bottles of water.

@KrissBergTweets@CeoHop@ClintFiore Everywhere. Talk to any ER doc they will tell you the greatest risk to life/safety of children are e-bikes/scooters.
My bro in suburban Denver says there's an absolute "plague" of kids on e-bikes and e-dirtbikes bombing around the streets and neighborhoods at high speeds.
7-14 year old boys equipped with capabilities they're not mature enough to handle safely, drive like banshees through yards and intersections and golf courses etc.
I don't see too many of those here in small town TX and when I do they don't seem to be terrorizing anyone.
Curious if this is happening where you live or not. Is this a big deal?
@76547654654546g@Crypt0mer@washghost1 Animal Fat, protein… and carbs? Nutrients growing children need? A bit high in sodium but overall not bad if you can get them to eat it.
In Mississippi, 14-year-old Carly Gregg came home to find her mom searching her room after being informed she was vaping weed at school.
Carly said nothing.
She grabbed a .357 Magnum from under the mattress, walked back in, and shot her mother three times in the head.
The teen then used her mom’s phone to text her stepdad: “Are you almost home, honey?”
When he arrived, she was waiting, and tried to blow his head off too. However, her stepdad managed to wrestle the gun away despite being shot in the shoulder.
In 2024, Carly was convicted and sentenced to two life sentences without parole.
@TorkWhisler Idk tork I bought a Maytag top load washer in 2015 and it’s still going strong no issues unless the wife spills detergent all over the steel lid/gums up the dials
The appliance guy told me five years is pretty good on a washer. Five years.
I bought it in 2019 and the bearing is molded into the drum so you can't just replace the bearing. You replace the whole drum for $900 or you buy a new washer for $985.
The refrigerator from 1989 sitting in my garage has never been serviced and runs like a top.
That's your product quality report, folks.
@cutiecat1738@b_szako65487@JDevilos They’re literally on a podcast bc their finances are in dire straits. Maybe their gluttony has something to do with it! I’d wager they spend a significant portion of their budget on fast food, alcohol and places like crumbl/cold stone, etc.
@WallStreetApes And of course the comments are encouraging her to move to someplace shitty with more affordable homes. The homes that are "affordable" are in areas that are shitty and the pay is generally lower too. Why are people so fucking stupid?
American says they she will never be able to afford a home because every home in her area is $500,000 to $1,000,000
She says even looking for something very basic, there is nothing under $500,000
“I cannot fathom ever owning a home. I cannot fathom ever not living in an apartment — honestly, it feels like one of the worst timelines to ever be dropped into this sh*t because everything is so expensive, and I hate that word, but everything is so expensive”
We have to bring back home ownership in America
@hellaflagella9@Adams_GOP Yes. I had a work permit at 16 and could only drive to work after school. Definitely knew it was wrong to drive without a licenses, seems this family has an issue with personal accountability.
@Adams_GOP Just to be clear you want this child charged with a felony, probably as an adult, inserting him into the corrections system, which will severly inhibit his chances of becoming a productive member of society?
Unbelievable. A 16-year-old was caught flying through a 35-MPH construction zone at 100 MPH in Commerce City—with no license, no insurance, and his 12-year-old brother in the passenger seat.
Even more shocking? The mother showed up and defended it, claiming he "had to" drive to school. The vehicle was impounded, but the teen walked away with a citation for reckless driving instead of the felony child abuse charges that putting a 12-year-old in a 100-MPH "deadly weapon" deserves.
This is the inevitable result of the "Soft on Crime" culture championed by modern Democrats. When you spend years weakening the authority of police, prioritizing "equity" over enforcement, and treating serious offenses like minor suggestions, you foster a culture of total lawlessness.
From Denver to the suburbs, we are seeing the consequences of a system that cares more about the "extenuating circumstances" of the criminal than the safety of the public. If there are no real consequences for endangering children and workers in a construction zone, why would anyone follow the law?
It’s time to stop making excuses for negligence and start prioritizing law and order before these "reckless" choices turn into a tragedy. 🚔🛑 #LawAndOrder#Colorado#PublicSafety#AccountabilityNownewsbreak.com/outthere-color…
@M3lastnames@omgsidewalks And typically bonuses are not tied to goals, they are tied to company financial targets which , more than likely, have little to do with individual contributor day to day tasks unless you are literally doing nothing
@M3lastnames@omgsidewalks The problem is most employees have pre determined goals / projects for the fiscal year. Framing 3-5 “goals” are this in workday doesn’t add any value. It’s just a waste of time to say “we did the projects as needed through FY##” with a bunch of corporate speak. It’s unnecessary
I haťe when a job asks you to set "goals"
My only "goal" is to remain employed so I can continue to pay for my living expenses while finding fulfillment in the areas of my life unrelated to a day job.
