@njuru_patrick Few jettys I've seen (in Lamu and Likoni ferry) have inclined vertical beams dipping into the water. Always found it quite a sight. Somehow always thought it was a requirement.

@r_y_a_n_KE Permit is a real bottleneck. Surveying, contect creation, agriculture, package delivery, and many others. Innovators could come up with new solutions to problems in this sectors using UAVs

It's high time tech entrepreneurs in Kenya make moves at influencing policy. Look at the drone laws for instance, whoever passed them only knows drones as a military tool hence make it very hard for any business to exist in this sector. Some policies are basically killing industries before they are born.

@papa_equality @Seid101 Scarcity is real, not just a mentality. Manifests everyday from the fumes I inhale daily from 30-year cars, dust I wipe off my shoes from unpaved roads, to the mtush I settle for because new clothes are too expensive. One life. I opt for a better quality of it. For me, my kids.

Why would anyone use 15 million Kenya shillings just to continue hustling in a very cold white dominated country?

Would you rather use 15M to relocate your family to Canada or build a successful business in kenya for them?

I am Nigerian, and right now my dream is bigger than me.
Only about 1% of global electronics manufacturing happens in Africa.
That means millions of African innovators are building the future using ecosystems that don't account for them. Brilliant minds wait weeks for a single prototype PCB to cross oceans, stalled by borders and supply chains that ignore our shores. When iteration takes months instead of days, innovation suffocates.
That gap has consequences. It keeps us as consumers of tech rather than creators.
So at SkyPower / CircuitCraft, we are deciding to build towards changing it.
We are completely rebuilding the hardware prototyping infrastructure right here in Nigeria. Local manufacturing. Precision engineering. Rapid iteration. We are putting the power to design, spin, and deploy production-grade hardware directly into the hands of African builders.
The dream is bigger than us—but we are building the foundation anyway. 🇳🇬⚙️

@rdotapps It never worked. You can see from the set up, the plan was to press a button on the Uno side and have the buzzer sound on the ESP side, but all was quiet on the wiring front. I tried looking at the code again, looked at the connections again, still nothing. So decoupling helps?

@BwayoMark @sirkayfx666 @rwenzori_ @llerioluwakiiye @civilengCE My thoughts exactly. The drone still wont lay the chalk nor dig up the trench. Unless someone can help me see this from a different angle...

@sirkayfx666 @rwenzori_ @llerioluwakiiye @civilengCE It would be mostly for show and expensive for nothing.

This could be the entire Nairobi Expressway, but no one wants to do the work to make it happen.
All that needs to happen is for the government to tell the PPP partner to do it, or else.
