Been trying long-running agents on @cursor_ai since yesterday - awesome stuff. One thing that I miss for this kind of long-running workflow is a simple phase/progress timeline view format. A thread withsome humble feedback 👇 Prototype (not in Cursor!)-> cursor-feedback.vercel.app

Are you guys aware I am coding mostly on my phone now all day via Termius to Claude Code on my server while I go with gf to the dentist, clothing store, cafe, etc. 😛✌️

@levelsio "You" ➡️ IP your Internet provider assigns you; not your servers IPs. If you had a static IP I'd like to know why you prefer Tailscale over just adding e.g. your company IP to the firewalls SSH whitelist.

Utility. Claude says "hey if you use me you could be 100x more effective than your competitors, and you don't have to learn code." Genie, dot etc say "here is a personalized playlist, here is a coffee shop, here is summary..." that's not compelling enough in itself even if the shaders are gorgeous, the animations are the best in the world, bloody exceptional craft. Not enough! However, I do think there is room for products like Genie/Dot etc, (as the co-founder of Genie) i've recently discovered what that recipe is. Now combine that recipe with say the craftsmanship of Genie, you'll surpass Claude in a sense. How do I know - I don't? But I do know historically Apple surpassed the equivalent of Claude/etc it was Microsoft/M-DOS. You need to be bluntly honest with yourself, and as a designer you cannot sacrifice quality. That's my take.

i have one upsetting observation: all the beautifully designed AI tools we’ve seen so far (dot, humane, cobot) were basically dead on arrival, while complex, highly technical products (claude code, openclaw) gain mass adoption in seconds. we're definitely missing something.

Hello! Today we're releasing Paper Desktop Paper is now a canvas for Cursor, Claude Code, Codex. Any agent can read and write html to Paper. • push or pull from your codebase • pull real data from anywhere • less work, more design What will you ship? Sound on 🎶

Cursor just got a major upgrade! Agents can onboard to your codebase, use a cloud computer to make changes, and send you a video demo of their finished work. The latency of using the remote desktop is smooooth.

With that said, the Figma piece is still a bit of a question mark here. Using Claude Code with Agentation already kind of feels like designing in code… Figma feels like a nice-to-have in the loop, more so as a reference point

The Claude Code → Figma workflow is fun. Add Agentation into the middle and you get pretty close to truly ‘designing’ in code.

It used to be way faster to iterate UI in Figma than in code. Now with AI, code iteration is faster than Figma. MCP → Figma is nice, but limited context + doesn’t always respect design systems and then if we import slop into figma then we have to again create polished UI. I think having like a vibe-design chat inside Figma that generates screens/components while following religiously the tokens & UI rules that are already enstablished in the file. For example - maintaining components for large systems in Figma, sometimes is much more time consuming then in code now with AI. This is coming from somone that spent the last 8 years in both Figma and code - and loves @figma.

@jamesoanta @cursor_ai VERY much agree. Q: How are you getting the cloud env. to work w/ multiple containers? I haven't been able to get that going and there are no docs.

@cursor_ai Something I forgot - since it's a long-running operation, mobile first is also a must-have. I've found myself checking my phone for updates on commits and progress. I've updated the prototype to support it as well.

5/5 Crazy fact: the entire prototype of this idea was built - like always - with @cursor_ai. Crazy to think that you can deliver feedback this way with just a couple of prompts. Check it out here: cursor-feedback.vercel.app
