In this particular case, I think obsessing about skin color is dumb, and loons on both sides do it, so it's a good comparison to make.

@JillFilipovic I never found contacts difficult but my partner has always needed glasses and also can't touch his eyeballs. He can't even *think* about touching his eyeballs.

Ok not to turn this into a Feelings Thread but I’ve legit been feeling so embarrassed that I couldn’t even put in / take out contacts, a thing literal children do, but it seems like this is something that afflicts many of us? Thank you.
(And yes I’m sure you get used to it but my eye doctor made me practice to show I could at least get them out of my eyes and… after many many attempts I could not).

@LJS527 Jetskiers tend to get way too close to waterskiers, wanting to catch the boat's wake, not being attentive to the fact that a waterskier can fall at any moment. It's a safety issue.
Wake boarders on the other hand I just hate on principle bc I am old and curmudgeonly
