Today, @tryprofound is excited to announce our $96M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by @lightspeedvp with participation from @sequoia, @kleinerperkins, @mattevantic, @saga_ventures and @southpkcommons. When we started Profound 18 months ago, we had two fundamental beliefs about where marketing is heading: 1. Every company will care deeply about how AI talks about their brand. 2. Every marketer will use AI Agents to do their best work, faster. Those beliefs are becoming reality faster than we imagined. Now, we serve more than 10% of the Fortune 500 and are the number 1 leader on the G2 grid for AEO. To double down on that momentum, we’re taking two big swings: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: AI workers that take marketing teams from concept to execution. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆: certifications and cohort-based learning for marketers who want stay at the forefront of AI marketing. Reply with 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 for free access to one of our most popular agents. No account required and no strings attached.

Revenue automation software has a credibility problem. Numbers appear in dashboards. And accountants are told to just trust them. Our team at @usemonk took a different approach. We set out to make every number traceable and defensible. Today, @zhou_squared shares our product philosophy on building for accounting/finance professionals. We’ve been fortunate to have the support of our customers and experts in this build. Thank you for continued feedback!

The average dunning email gets ignored. You are literally sending "please ignore me" messages to customers who owe you money. Playbooks - our workflow system for intelligent collections - is now live on the @usemonk platform. A system that reasons, not just reminds. We filmed a 60 second video showing you an experiment between @zhou_squared and @francescocoacci collecting $100K. Finance, biz-ops and post-sales teams should not be spending time chasing customers. Many spend 10+hrs/week doing what Joe did in this video: - context switching between tools (slack, gmail, quickbooks, google sheets) - breaking flow from deep work - sending reminders because the average dunning email is ignored But agentic collections are not enough. Every customer relationship is different. Some need white-glove treatment and others a nudge. That’s why we built playbooks, giving every business a customizable collection workflow. With playbooks you can: - create triggers and workflows specific to a customer segment (tone shift, conditions, escalations to sales/customer support) - auto-resolve AP questions with context from relevant email threads - pause automatically when product questions or upsells opportunities come up Playbooks is how you get paid while you sleep. And we do it with professionalism and empathy that your customers deserve. Heading into Q1 with a gap between signed ARR and actual cash? Watch the video. And if you want to see bloopers from Frank/Joe filming, comment “payday” + tag a teammate and we will send you bloopers from the shoot.

So excited to launch Autograph today. We raised $2.1M from elite operators, founders, and investors to build a platform that feels like God Mode for Operators. It's a single platform that integrates with existing systems — the alphabet soup of enterprise software, like your HRIS, ERP, FP&A, ATS, CRM, along with data warehouses and spreadsheets — to combine, clean, and make sense of your data. This data feeds a series of pre-built apps and agents that allow you to level up as an operator: run your complex, multi-functional workflows 10x better. We're solving the processes that takes forever and is really frustrating, but is essential to operating and scaling effectively: our first few apps are headcount planning, compensation reviews, and sales capacity. We're moving insanely fast. We're shipping a new app every couple of weeks. Soon, we'll have hiring pipelines, vendor analytics, resource allocation, unit economics, CX capacity, people analytics, and more. The best part? It's incredibly fast to set up thanks to our powerful agentic data engine, that processes any data source like magic. That means no long implementations, no multi-year contracts. We think it's the biggest leap forward for operators since the spreadsheet. Book an 20-minute onboarding to get started!

$3 Trillion is currently stuck in unpaid invoices. An average invoice takes 59 days to clear. If you're doing >$10M in revenue, getting paid in 30 days instead of 59 days will literally make you millions over 2 years. Introducing Monk. It collects your money faster and pays for itself in 30 days, guaranteed. Fast-growing companies like ElevenLabs and Profound rely on Monk. The Problem: 39% of the $3T stuck is due to two stupid reasons: 1. "Please fix this comma in the invoice and then we'll pay you'" (this happens 2-3 times per transaction) 2. "Sorry the payment reminder got buried in my inbox" (automated emails get ignored) A payment that should take 2 days, takes 10 days. Your cash on hand is embarrassingly behind "recorded revenue". To fix this, we raised $4M led by @btv_vc with participation from @gtmfund and @danonanthony. For our first product, we had to innovate on 3 dimensions: 1. Monk turns signed contracts into invoices with near-perfect precision - We leverage frontier models to extract key terms from your deals and turn them into invoices. 2. Monk collects payments agentically with a 24% better reply rate than automated emails: - Tuned to write emails that feel like a human request, not spam. Your invoice is competing with everything in their inbox. - We know how to find an alternate point-of-contact when someone is OOO, when to reach out, and what tonality yields a higher response rate. If you had someone on your team whose invoice emails got answered 24% more than others - that would be a big deal. You’d make them the head of revenue collection. 3. Granular visibility into your cashflow: - Understand your cash position, aging, or expansion/contraction at customer level. Book a demo at monk.com/book-a-demo-fo… and we guarantee that Monk will pay for itself within 30 days. If you've read this far, we are giving away 40 water-tight contract templates. This would cost >$10K to any agency, startups, or freelancer, to create from scratch. Retweet this and comment 'Monk' and we'll send them to you.

Today we’re launching Prompt Volumes, answering the biggest question in AEO: "How many people are talking about <any topic> in AI platforms like ChatGPT?" Search is skipping the website. People go straight to Answer Engines to get what they need.

Customers don't Google blue links to decide what to buy anymore. They ask ChatGPT. Google currently drives $2.4 trillion of commerce. In 5 years, $1 trillion of that will shift to ChatGPT. Becoming ChatGPT's #1 recommendation could be worth $100M+ to your business. Here's what should terrify every CEO: - ChatGPT hit 700M weekly users, growing 4X year-over-year - 47% of consumers already use answer engines like ChatGPT to research purchases - ChatGPT handles 1 billion+ queries daily (1/8th of Google) - At current growth rates, AI assistants will drive 30% of all product decisions by 2029 If your company generates >$1M from SEO, you're facing an existential threat: ranking #1 on Google will soon be as relevant as ranking #1 in the Yellow Pages. Here's the paradigm shift: In the SEO era, you optimized articles to rank for keywords. But answer engines don't crawl your SEO-optimized pages. They form opinions from authentic discussions on Reddit, niche forums, and community blogs. The brands dominating these conversations become their default recommendations. Every company built on SEO is about to watch its distribution channel evaporate. That's why we built @tryprofound: the generative engine optimization (GEO) platform that gives you control over how your brand is being discovered across all answer engines like ChatGPT. Today, I'm thrilled to announce our $35M Series B led by @sequoia, with continued backing from @kleinerperkins, @khoslaventures, @Saga_Ventures, and @southpkcommons. In under 12 months, over 2,000 marketers at companies like Ramp, US Bank, Indeed, MongoDB, DocuSign, and Chime have used Profound to: - Monitor how answer engines describe their brand - Identify which Reddit threads and forums shape AI opinions in their category - Drive up to 700% increases in AI referrals - Generate six-figure revenue directly from AI recommendations Today, we're launching a game-changing update: Workflows. - Profound identifies which forums and communities answer engines reference for your industry. - Workflows then automatically create authentic, valuable content for the platforms most relevant for you to be picked up by answer engines like ChatGPT. - The $2.4 trillion commerce pie isn't growing as much as it's being redistributed. From SEO to GEO.
