Sony does the same; I got a Steam notification the other day that DEATH STRANDING 2 is about to drop. Nintendo seems to hold on because they guard their IP like it's Fort Knox, but aside from that, is there any reason to own a PS5 or Xbox? A $900 laptop with a GPU plays any AAA game you want plus every single PC game made since ZORK. Plus it does actual computer things.
