@JusticeHorn_ Yes, if you read the comments on his Facebook page he is portraying them as aggressive, republican racists. Others are referring to them as racists and plenty of nasty comments about them.

I’m a registered democrat at Lake Lotawana. I live a few houses down from the wonderful people that you’re vilifying in this attempt at race baiting. Like any good neighbor, we all check on people who are wandering through our lake community. I’m appalled by your treatment of my neighbors. They are some of the most amazing, kind, people I’ve ever known. Do better.

This already happened to me in Lake Tapawingo—and now it’s happening again in Lake Lotawana. I’m out here door knocking when two older residents followed me, interrogated me, and told me, “You didn’t need to be out there.” I told them I’m a candidate running for the county. The cops have been called on me, but I’m still going to continue and finish my door knocking. I’m not doing anything wrong. There’s probably a reason that their door wasn’t on my list in the first place. This is the reality of door knocking as a young Black candidate in Missouri—and it’s sad, but it won’t stop me. 👉 You can donate to our movement: secure.actblue.com/donate/justice…

I started listening to Episode 1 after meeting David in Miami in December of 2023 and I’ve been going through them in order. I’m at #261. I don’t know exactly how many hours that is, but it’s almost certain that I’ve heard more of David’s voice than any other man in my entire life. 139 episodes until I get to episode 400 and then only 1000 to go. Through endurance, we conquer.

I’d like to thank all the folks on the internet who made fun of Katy Perry’s Lifetimes tour and drove the price down. This is absolutely the best dollar to concert ratio I’ve had in years. My daughter is losing her mind. Awesome concert! 🤩 #katyperry143 #lifetimestour

@nateberkopec It used to be amazing. Now it's far too complicated and the pricing is nuts. At one point it was the third highest cost item in our tech stack. We replaced it with Flipper. github.com/flippercloud/f…

It's wild listening to @theallinpod talk about Trump in Ep 16 and then hearing what they're saying now. @DavidSacks "I think he's disqualified himself from being a candidate at a national level" youtube.com/watch?v=7JtAp_… I didn't think he was disappointed by that situation.😬

@EHoffanonymous @dhh Also stuck in Control 4 at home. It’s garbage. Have Sonos and Lutron at our lake house and it’s SO much better.

@dhh I couldn't agree more! Why is it so hard for companies to design a good home solution? (I unfortunately am stuck in control 4)

I love Sonos. Have dozens of their speakers across several locations. But it's hard to argue with this. My wife was ready to rip it all out after struggling with some of the most basic elements of the new app AND the vastly increased unreliability of basic functions. Tough spot!
Gergely Orosz@GergelyOrosz

What is happening at Sonos is hard to believe. The company released a new app that is a big regression in reliability, usability and functionality vs the old one. Sales are falling thanks to the new app. There is no quick fix. They want to re-release the old app... but cannot

I've used tons of net worth tracking apps. Kubera's my fav by FAR. I have zero affiliation. Don't even know them. I'm pretty sure its a tiny team. But they've been launching so many cool features and are moving fast. kubera.com @KuberaApp

Woke up to a nightmare on Saturday... My day started at 6:30am woken by a siren notifying of an incoming rocket. Grabbed the kids to get to shelter. This was a complete surprise, we thought it might've been a mistake.

@chamath At what point do we hit a materials limit? We’re already seeing that with lithium, and many of the minerals that are required for solar panels are thought to be in short supply. If every home needs solar panels and batteries that’s a problem. Central utility makes some sense?

Look at the explosive growth and falling costs of batteries, solar and wind in the chart below…the numbers are really impressive. This is why I think we will have a near zero marginal cost of energy by 2030. The incremental cost of generating power will approach ~$0.005/kWh in this time frame - essentially making power free and abundant. The big issue will be the realized cost of this energy and will demonstrate, especially in the US, the decrepit and costly delivery infrastructure from the incumbent utilities. All of this translates into higher prices which makes no sense (see image). My bet has, and will continue to be, that more and more of power will be generated by individuals using solar PV + battery packs in their home. The pull through from EVs will also help accelerate this trend. So whether you want a Tesla and end up with solar and battery or you simply want lower energy costs and break away from your utility, many Americans will end up in the same place: they will become a mini utility that makes power from the sun and uses it to power their lives. Now, one thing we will save for later is the tipping point of insolvency for utilities as this trend really accelerates: how do they pay for their debt when enough people generate their own power and quit the utilities? This is a multi $T default in the offing…likely in the 2030-2040 timeframe.

Loads of fun last night speaking in Vancouver. Went for more than 2 hours with loads of questions from the audience (and still didn’t get through them all). Big thanks to @notionport, @farhanmohamed, @awilkinson, the rest of the crew, and the audience. ❤️

Until today! 🎉🥳🎊 Head over to johnnunemaker.com/flipper-1-0/ for the rest of the story (new teammate, sponsorships, generous free tier, etc.). Feels big! @marcrandolph Sitting around a table with smart people solving interesting problems is a luxury. It's immensely enjoyable, but if you're in a situation where you can't put food on the table, you need to be able to get the basics taken care of before you can tinker around with friends. 6/

@marcrandolph It wasn't until I left Yahoo! and joined forces with a small group that was focused on making money that my trajectory changed dramatically. We built a company with the goal of getting rich, and we succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. 5/

It amazes me how often entrepreneurs tell me their number one goal is to be rich. I find this tragic. First, it’s highly unlikely. It’s rare enough to earn a living at this game, much less accumulate life-changing wealth. Second, it misses the real reason entrepreneurship is so rewarding: getting to sit around a table with smart people solving interesting problems.
