@RepMaxwellFrost Have you ever posted something truthful? You are supposed to be my representative but you represent non-citizens and criminals. You suck!

If House Republicans wanted to end this shutdown and pay TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard, they could do it right now. Instead, they're refusing to vote on a bipartisan funding bill because they want even more money for ICE — the agency that's murdering Americans, kidnapping people, and wreaking havoc on our communities. We're standing 10 toes down: No more blank checks for ICE.

@jenniferzeng97 Are you stating that it is actually true? Or that it is actually stated? I don't believe anything that Iran or China would publish.

Inconvenient Truths — Jennifer Zeng Reports
🇮🇷🙀The Iranian military hit or shot down 202 U.S. and Israeli military aircraft? CCP's mouthpiece Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday that “the Iranian military claimed it has hit or shot down 202 U.S. and Israeli military aircraft.” (Initially, I thought it was fake news. I searched for it, and found it is true. Link to the report in the comments for you to verify.) The full report reads: “The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces released statistics on the 26th, stating that since the United States and Israel launched military operations against Iran on the 28th of last month, Iran has hit or shot down a total of 202 U.S. and Israeli military aircraft of various types, including MQ-9 ‘Reaper’ drones, KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft, as well as F-35, F-15, F-16, and F-18 fighter jets.”

🚨 Big fail for the CCP! Foreign Minister Wang Yi's desperate push to negotiate with Iran has completely collapsed! According to insider sources from China, Iran has outright refused to guarantee the safety of Chinese merchant vessels. Now Chinese goods are piling up at the ports, stuck with nowhere to go. Many are calling Iran the biggest loser in this war… and the CCP the clear second. What do you think? Do you agree? Drop your take below! 👇

@johnkonrad @RobManess @BuzzPatterson @MCCCANM If I evaluate the Navy based on numerous recent "Loss of Confidence" actions removing "their best" from command, I would think the the US Naval Academy has a real problem understanding the culture of teamwork with the other services. Not that I'm biased..... Go Army!

I apologize to all my regular followers for the rants this morning. But I need someone to explain this to me with crayons. I have never once seen @RobManess or @BuzzPatterson or @MCCCANM trashing commercial airline crews who volunteer to fly soldiers and equipment into combat zones. NOT ONCE. Maybe I missed it but… NEVER NEVER HAVE I SEEN IT B U T EVERY SINGLE DAY Some Navy officer comes on this app to trash 🇺🇸 ship crews. And when you call them out, they come out of the woodwork to dogpile you and then run off to their little private knitting circles on Bluesky and Reddit. The Marines love us. The Air Force thanks us for delivering their fuel and bombs. The Army is a mixed bag. But the Navy? The one branch that literally cannot sail anywhere without the Merchant Marine alongside? Someone please explain. With crayons. Please explain why it wouldn’t even cross a USAF vet’s mind to publicly mocking a Civil Air Patrol pilot or an airline captain for risking their life in combat airlifts but U.S. Merchant Mariners are fair game for harassment by the Navy. Why? I honestly don’t get it. P.S. And don’t tell me it’s because I’m the problem. I was on this app for ten years watching nicely before I started getting mad.
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad

You treat an entire profession like garbage for decades. You go out of your way to call them civilians. You refuse to put defensive systems on their ships and send them into active combat defenseless. The young, motivated people all quit. Then you’re shocked when what’s left doesn’t meet your standards. So you yell at the survivors to make themselves “combat efficient” on zero training budget. You yell at the old people “you want to be taken seriously, get your asses in shape” No, Blake. The U.S. Merchant Marine isn’t “fat old boozy pirates.” We have young, fit professionals doing the most mentally demanding offshore work on the planet. They just refuse to work for the Navy. Because of exactly this attitude from Naval Officers like you. Let’s go Blake. Let’s go @FarvaPrice. Get out of that bubble and come with me to the US Merchant Marine Academy, let’s visit @MaritimeCollege, come up to Mass Maritime. Come see all the not fat, not old, not drunk, not lazy, high IQ midshipmen doing more physically demanding, more academically demanding work than USNA at the top of their game who refuse to work for the Navy because ya’ll give us zero respect. Or we can go visit the fit, young, groomed, motivated Federal Service Academy @UsmmaO midshipmen floating and under fire aboard five USMM ships in the Persian Gulf right now because your DDGs refuse to leave the safety of the Arabian gulf to go in and escort them out. Or I can introduce you to the mothers of those young midshipmen - merchant Mariners yes but also Navy Reserve brothers like you - who are on their knees praying everyday your Navy will do their legal obligations and go protect their sons and daughters. What Blake. What exactly do you think those young mids are going to tell their classmates when (or IF) they get back to campus? You think they are going to have nice things to say about the Navy that cut tail and ran out of the Persian Gulf without them?? F YOU F ALL YOU NAVY PRICKS

@johnkonrad @calvinfroedge What a maroon.... I remember the gas crisis of my youth when we had to wait in lines and hope you didn't run out of gas in the line. I refused to drive for a week because I could not fathom the price of gas over a dollar a gallon....

“Beyond what any sober mind could have envisioned” First of all I don’t drink. Second I envisioned way worse on week one. Third, my envisionment was more conservative than shipping analyst @calvinfroedge Maybe if you turned off the news and listened to actual shipping experts this wouldn’t be such a shock to you.
Eric Nuttall@ericnuttall

I've so far avoided dramatics because I would be accused of bias. To be clear: this is the worst energy crisis of our lifetimes, well beyond what any sober mind could have envisioned, with no end in sight. The level of complacency to me is astounding.

@SenFettermanPA I left Philadelphia long ago, but it used to be you could depend on the steelworkers, pipefitters, and roofers to shut this kind of crap down while the police looked the other way. So sad what Philadelphia has become.

Raise the wage base to 90% of wages + small tax-rate bump + retirement age to 68–69 for higher earners + progressive benefit growth slowdown. This achieves full 75-year solvency (and sustainable balance thereafter), costs current retirees nothing, and can be designed to be roughly revenue-neutral in the short term while strengthening the economy long term.

Yes! There should not be any tax on social security AT ALL! It's not the government's money. I put it in, it should not be taxed when I take it out. Go tax Congress, stop fraud to get lost tax dollars, stop giving welfare to illegal immigrants. Don't punish those who played by the rules.

@jlmoon @MarcGoldwein Do you think a senior who has $50,000 in Social Security benefits (the max amount today) had high income while working? Yes. If they had high income, do they also have a lot in retirement savings and other assets/income streams? Yes. Is there a more fair way you can suggest?

@RyanLEllis @MarcGoldwein And they still have mortgage payments, car payments, and student loan payments. "Wealthy" used to mean millionaires and up, now it means upper middle class? I guess I should open a learing center and avoid all of this.....

@jlmoon @MarcGoldwein $100,000 in Social Security benefits means that each half of the couple earned over $175,000 per year, in today’s dollars. Think they might have 401(k), IRA, or taxable brokerage account income on top of this? I do.

@Chloe80128904 @MarcGoldwein The Six Figure Limit proposal targets couples and would cap the combined Social Security retirement benefits for a couple (both claiming at full retirement age, currently heading to 67) at $100,000 per year. For a single retiree, the cap would be $50,000.

@RepMaxwellFrost While everyone involved with Epstein were immoral turds (beginning with Bill Clinton), it is far from very important to issues such as security, affordability, and safety - items which are actually important to the People. You are a one trick pony

Bears are on the move! Female bears are busy each spring teaching their cubs what to eat and how to survive. You can prevent them from seeing your yard as an easy meal by: 🐻 Securing your garbage 🐻 Bringing pet food indoors 🐻 Removing bird seed and other attractants If bears can’t find food in your yard or neighborhood, they’ll keep moving.
