@bob_bocker @VRHOUGHTON @mikevolpe @SusanBassi @DavisVanguard @rjhansen13 @FieldWhistle @lccrsf @SJSUHumanRights Not-so-fun fact : out of 1,732 “accusations” filed from 2010-2023, only 14 were successful per public records produced to me. This is just another fraudulent @StateBarCA scheme to steal money and property from the public. Also known as mail or wire fraud in the U.S.

Some people on here have been talking about adult loneliness. This hits home for me, big time. See in 2018 my wife tried to throw a birthday party for me. She could not get one single person to show up. Not. One. Person. One of the saddest days of my life. Now, this year alone (just 6 years later) I will go on 4 boys trips, 2-3 more trips with other families, and (most importantly) I have a deep connection with dozens of other men and women that I didn't even know in 2018. I have GREAT birthday parties now. This is how I turned it around: 1. You have friends, you just never show any effort. After quite literally the saddest birthday ever, I came to a harsh realization: I had friends I just made zero effort with them. Why would they show any effort toward me? That changed right then. I start texting and calling friends randomly. Whenever a fun old memory would pop up, I'd text the people who were there. "Hey remember..." it always started good conversations. We'd ask about each others lives. This led me to the second big revelation. 2. If you want to see them, go see them, idiot. Call and text and say "let's hang". Go get beers. If you don't drink, go play golf. If you don't golf, try pickle ball with them. It's that simple. One of those text strings was with dudes from all over the country. Someone suggested a Zoom call. Great idea! Except, wait. F@#$ that. Zoom calls suck. They're awkward and people find an excuse to no-show. How many times have you said "we should get together!" Newsflash: it will never happen unless you make it happen. NE-VER. Got that old friend, the one that you really miss? Get on a plane. Which brings me to one of the best things I've done in the past few years: 3. Start planning a mini reunion with childhood, high school and college friends today. It's shocking how good seeing old friends live and in-person is. You need it. BUT, here's the key to making it happen from someone who's planned a bunch of these in the last few years: let go of any notion of reaching a consensus. If you're going to try to make everyone happy it will never happen. Pick a date about 6 months out, find a fun location, and start planning it. Tell your friends you'll take charge they just have to show up. Way more people will show up this way. (Reminder: this is literally why Homecoming was invented. Find your school's homecoming weekend and make a plan.) How to make it great: one person (probably you) pays for all the meals and activities and then have the crew reimburse you. This removes the awkward check-reaching moments and everyone can relax. Centering your trip around an activity (golf, rafting, skiing) also will reduce those awkward "what do we talk about now?" moments and creates instant memories. I have a rule: the person who plans it goes free-ish. Meaning whoever takes on all this work to plan it gets their activities paid for (I pay for my own flights and hotel). When I divide the expenses by the number of people, I just remove 1 (me). I am open about this, and no one complains. It also serves as incentive for people to plan the next one. This won't work sometimes in smaller 3-4 person groups, but you get the idea. Now let's talk about making NEW friends... 4. Get out of your shell. I was a proud introvert for years. I bragged about it. Then no one came to my birthday party and I realized how stupid I was. I realized I was surrounded by fun, interesting people, I just never bothered to ask about them. See I HATE small talk. Can't stand it. It's people asking the same 3 questions and then waiting to be asked the same 3 questions. Then it's over and people try to find an excuse to wander off. So I stopped doing that. Now I do this: Ask interesting questions: listen to the answer: repeat. I forgo any desire to talk about myself. Fact is that people who I want to be friends with WILL ask about me eventually, but in the beginning I just ask and listen. I show genuine interest in the other person. Suddenly I have a lot of new friends. Coincidence? Next time you're in this situation try this. It's starts with the old standby but gets way deeper. What do you do? > How'd you get into that? > Did you study that in college? > What did you want to do when you were a kid/student? > What would do if you could make a million bucks a year doing it? This line always gets into people's hopes and dreams, their history, where they lived and what they did. This is the good stuff. Then you can transition into: What do you do outside of work? What are you excited about these days? How did you get into that? What do you need to do that? How often do you go? This will naturally, eventually lead to you saying.... "I've always wanted to try that..." You see where this is going? This leads me to... 5. Just say yes. Here's the deal, I didn't really want to try that thing I was chitchatting about, I wanted new friends. So I just started doing what they do. That led me to do some really scary sh*t over the years. Motorcycling over mountain passes with zero experience. Skiing down a narrow chute with my sphincter fully puckered. Eating psychedelics with a bunch of weirdos. But it all usually led to deep, lasting friendships. There were plenty of things I did that I'll never do again, but they were all good experiences in the end. It can start so easily. ✅Stop dropping your kids off at the birthday party, go in there and have one good conversation with one person. ✅Join that new church. ✅Try that new weird sport every one is talking about. ✅Join the Facebook group, go to the meetup, volunteer to help. Finally, ALL this gets easier when you realize... 6. You are NOT alone. Everyone feels this now. We've forgotten the art of making friends. You are NOT socially awkward, you are not a loner! We have all this connectivity and no connection. It's not your fault. It makes it so much easier to approach people, to invite yourself into someone's life, when you realize they either A) feel this same loneliness or B) have figured out how not to be lonely. In either case, this is a good person to know, right? I had a stark realization one day at the playground. My son is a master connector, he makes friends every single place he goes. How? He walks up to another kid and says "Wanna play?" Then they play. That's it. We can do this as adults, we just have to show genuine curiosity in people, LISTEN to them, try new things, repeat. Call your old friends. Make the plans. Get on the plane. TAKE THE INITIATIVE, DUMMY. Oh and BY THE WAY, right now you are on the greatest connection-building app in the world. Send the DM, set up a call. It's not as hard as you think. Hopefully this helpful to you. If it was please Retweet it and give me a follow. Later, friends 🤟

I don’t care what anyone says. This was a total and complete team loss. Horrible play calling by McDaniel. Terrible showing by the defense. Too many dropped balls. Poor decision making by Tua. This was not what you expect out of a team that has punched its ticket to the playoffs. This was too much of a gut punch by the Ravens to write it off as a bad day. This team was not ready for the caliber and talent of the Ravens. I still love my team but boy does this one sting. Happy New Years to everyone. Go enjoy the rest of your day.

@mustbemarisa87 Just rewatched Sep. 18, 2022 game at Ravens. We were down 14-35 with about :30 left in the 3rd quarter… and won 42-38. @Tua threw 6 TDs and almost 500 yards. Hope we have faster start tomorrow or I’ll lose my voice screaming at TV but I’ll take any W.

This is what is not being talked about. I get we are battered right now. The ravens are, too. However, Tua has won both games against Lamar and the Ravens. If it was the other way around, the media would be talking about how Tua is 0-2 against Lamar. This guy will get us to 3-0 against them. Like if you agree.
