I just called a source at DHS because I knew this headline made no sense. Sure enough, it’s total BS! Here’s the actual story:
This woman entered our country illegally under the Biden admin. She CHOSE to illegally enter our country, CHOSE to bring her son with her, and CHOSE to commit a crime by resisting arrest.
She was asked if she wants to be removed with her son or if ICE should place him with a safe person who she designates. She chose to be separated from her child and place him in the custody of a guardian. ICE does not separate families.
Every single one of these stories turns out to be a lie.

Studies show that Trump's dismantling of USAID may have already caused upwards of 1 million preventable deaths worldwide, and could cause up to 14 million more by 2030. At yesterday's Appropriations Committee markup, I offered an amendment that would direct the government to publish a study on how many deaths the shuttering of USAID has caused and could cause over the next five years if these cuts to lifesaving assistance continue. Unfortunately, Republicans rejected this amendment, proving they would rather stick their heads in the sand than acknowledge this unnecessary and tragic loss of life because of Trump's cruel policies.

We measure heat by units we can feel, with 100F being 100% "feels hot" and 0F being 100% "feels cold". Humans can live slightly beyond each, but it is harder and harder.
These measurements are older and predate humans doing complex math.

You guys understand we’re going to lose the birthright citizenship case, right? Before you completely freak out, the traditional understanding of the 14th Amendment, which we are seeking to change, is not an insane reading of it. Nor are our arguments insane like the left has been same. That’s baloney to just shut us up. Neither side is frivolous. It’s a tough call legally and objectively speaking. But when we lose it, and I think we will, don’t freak out that this is some sort of conspiracy. It’s a hard legal decision. Sadly, we have three judges who aren’t even going to try to examine the question and will always vote for what leftists want. But the rest of the court has to make a tough legal call. I think our reading is the correct one. For various reasons, I think they’re going to rule against us. Don’t freak out when they do. It’s not an utterly irrational ruling like so many of the district court opinions we’ve seen.

It just feels so painfully obvious that the 14th amendment does not mean that a 9-months pregnant woman from Mexico can cross the Rio Grande illegally, give birth, and be allowed to stay because her child is now a natural born citizen.

ICE was checking IDs at the Atlanta airport today. The.guy said "your DL photo is super light, so facial recognition might not work."
I snapped back "that's so you know not to illegally deport me."
His buddy said "we can find a reason" and NOTHING could be more on-brand for an encounter with ICE.
