.@JKNC_ got the verdict we wanted & deserved. Our symbol, the plough, has been given to us by the Hon Supreme Court earlier this morning. The BJP, ably assisted by a totally biased Ladakh administration, did everything possible to deny us our right. The court saw through this & penalised them with ₹1 lakh costs imposed on the administration. Congratulations to @JkncKargil and a huge thank you to @ShariqJReyaz for the amazing job he did arguing this in front of the HC & SC.

Moreover, his office must provide justification for non renewal/issuance of route permits as per the rule of law. Also, appropriate action must be taken against those involved in cartelization of commercial transport business in Ladakh. #Kargil

@lg_ladakh must play a vital role by ensuring that the civil, pol, soc & economic rights of every individual is safeguarded within his administrative jurisdiction. His office should give credence to the demands of Kargil Transport Asso and issue permits to the taxi operators.

Further instead of resolving the issue, Administration has registered FIR against two students for allegedly instigating the inmates of an institutional quarantine centre to hold protest. The reason behind their protest was delay in test results. @lg_ladakh @ChoudharyBaseer

A clarification is must from the office of @ladags regarding the undue delay in test results, measures taken to stop the transmission & the healthcare provided, since the no of active cases in #Kargil has increased to 400+ but only 45 beds are available for COVID+ as per records.

The number of COVID cases have tremendously increased in #Kargil which is a matter of concern as many who were tested were asymptomatic but now they have tested + & few after completing their quarantine period had come in contact with others.
