Israel is running a network of torture camps for Palestinians. Our reports, Welcome to Hell and Hell on Earth, extensively documented a reality of extreme violence, starvation, and torture. Now, in a major @nytimes investigation, journalist @NickKristof published terrible testimonies concerning sexual violence and the use of sodomy as a tool of interrogation and humiliation by Israeli forces. Palestinian prisoners are subjected to severe violence, deliberate humiliation, starvation, sleep deprivation, denial of medical care, and abuse in every facility where they are held. These abusive practices are fully backed by the political leadership, which openly boasts about the harsh prison conditions. Some inmates are subjected to severe sexual assaults. At least 88 Palestinians have died in Israeli detention facilities since October 2023 as a result of inhumane conditions, violence, starvation, and the denial of medical treatment. Despite the extensive evidence, media investigations, and reports issued by Israeli and international organizations documenting torture in Israeli prisons, the international community continues to stand by and allow Israel to commit crimes against the Palestinian people. And yet the evidence that should have made them think twice about Erika Kirk is substantial, public, and not difficult to find. Erika Kirk — yes, always in beauty pageant mode— we can ignore her lack of authenticity at this point, it is widely observed. What concerns me and what should have concerned Hillsdale is this: TPUSA under Erika’s leadership has replaced substance with spectacle, real debate has been eliminated, intellectual rigor gone. The youth of America are once again being socially engineered — this time the lies and manipulations camouflaged by glitter, pyrotechnics, and hackneyed religious messaging. That @Hillsdale would extend an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service to Erika Kirk is frankly astonishing — and I’m speaking as a Hillsdale supporter. Hillsdale has built its entire reputation on principled independence, including the rare institutional backbone to refuse federal and state funding. That reputation now stands to be compromised by a failure of basic due diligence. The official account of Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been materially contradicted by evidence in wide public circulation. The @FBI narrative doesn’t hold up. Hard evidence — and yes, with glaring receipts — is out there, across social media and the internet @DNIGabbard. Erika’s proximity to that unresolved situation, combined with documented lies and a family background that raises serious questions, makes her a serious liability — not an honoree. Let me repeat: there is a huge policy rupture at TPUSA that cannot be ignored: in the period immediately preceding his death, Charlie Kirk had clearly and publicly broken with Israel and the pro-Israel war consensus and argued against military action against Iran. There are videos of Charlie all over social media stating his position unequivocally. Erika has not continued his legacy — she has buried it. In doing so, she has denied Charlie his final words — taking TPUSA in the opposite direction. Hillsdale honoring her is not a neutral act. Today (May 12), I gained access to a private conference held in Athens, Greece for the purpose of promoting deeper ties between Israel, Greece and Cyprus. The speakers included Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister, Israel's Ambassador to Greece, Greece's Minister of Tourism and Greece's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Their speeches left no doubt that the Israeli, Greek and Cypriot governments are strongly committed to the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), and that they view the closure of the Strait of Hormuz as a splendid marketing opportunity for IMEC.
