You mean the "Zoom to Fit" (shortcut Home key) is always on for you? (like the screenshot) This is unusual... I only see the BP full graph the 1st time I open a blueprint, because I use 1:1 zoom 90% of the time, the window saves my settings when closed and repeats them the next time I open the same blueprint and functions. Check your menu Window > Layout, perhaps you have a broken layout (or read-only?) that is not allowing the engine to save/update with your latest settings/style.

In gamedev, what you can make in 6 months depends mostly on your EXPERIENCE, this is the closest thing to a SECRET that exists. Beginners might spend those 6 months to make a simple Flappy Bird clone; whereas for me with my 10+ years of experience, I can ship something as complex as Dinky Guardians which is an Automation Strategy Management game. Exact same timeframe, wildly different outcomes! The more skilled you are, the faster you work. So yup make lots of games, write tons of code, so you can gain experience which allows you in the future to build much more complex things in shorter and shorter timeframes!

It sounds silly, but this was the single most impactful thing I ever did. I quit my corporate 9-5 job in May of 2024 and became a "full-time YouTuber". But the few months following that decision were the worst period in my channel's history. Yes YouTube was my "job", but internally I was really struggling to treat it as such. I played video games for content, I could set my own hours, and I didn't make nearly enough money to cover my bills. I figured I'd be able to treat YouTube more seriously when it started growing more and becoming "more legit", but that was the exact opposite of proper logic. My dumb ahh eventually realized that my lack of seriousness was the root of my failure. In 2025, I committed to a hyper strict schedule, running my business as if it already had 500k subscribers and as if it already was a successful operation. 2025 ended up being the year that changed my life forever. To all my fellow content creators, this is your wakeup call to lock in 🔒
