@SirClmnt I pay the highest tax rate, for me it’s more about the sheer lack of value and constant waste of all tax payers money.

What if we got rid of it entirely & just did a flat tax that goes up in steps of 5% & tops out at 20%?

EVERY SINGLE JOB SHOULD PAY A LIVING WAGE. If the work matters enough to hire someone to do it, that worker should be able to afford a safe comfy home, fresh nutritious food, a fun vacation sometimes and enough left to save. YES EVERY SINGLE JOB, INCLUDING YOURS.

@HamptonAc_ I grew up in London (central) still live there now, lucky enough to travel the world, very few cities are as good as London, not been to one that is better

I think London is one of the best cities in the world to make money and one of the worst cities in the world to enjoy spending it. Every person I know there is either building something or trying to escape it

@omgsidewalks Safe to assume you’ve never owned a business. No idea the amount of blood, sweat and tears that go into it. Building a successful business from nothing is one of the most difficult things to do.

NO billionaire has ever worked as hard as someone who needs two jobs to make rent and has to go home and take care of their kids and clean their own apartment. not even close.

@PathOfMen_ I’m not sure, I grow up in a very deprived area of London, I got an opportunity when I left school at 16 and made the most of it, my children have lived a life far removed from mine. It was hard work for me, but I made the most of that, with knock backs, but resilience

The average house price around Buckingham Palace is 1.4m. If you put down 10% and took out a 25 year fixed mortgage at the current default rate of 3.75% your mortgage would be £6478 a month. X12 months = £77735 a year.

@middle_class_us No one is talking about income tax. My income tax takes about 24% of what i make so if i make 100,000 im only bringing home 75! Why are we taxed so much and get so little in return

$72,000 salary is paycheck to paycheck. $4,000 disappears every month. Where’s it going? Chaos. Debt. Inflation. Just a few years ago this was enough to have a great life.

@Owennfa My parents bought a house in Lynbrook, Long Island in 1992 for $230,000. That house(and the surrounding houses) are now "worth" close to $800,000 while salaries(for the most part) have not gone up anywhere near the same rate. It's absolute nonsense!!

@Se_Railway Stuck on one. A lot of frustration on the train as other train companies using the same line are still moving up and down the track. Perhaps the announcement/guard/driver could inform the train why.

@robsum58 @RodinSimi I’m a West Ham fan and I have to say I agree with all of those points. To think the premier league has turned out this way. Most clubs in the PL are so commercial now and that has taken away from the traditional football supporter/roots. Point 4 might still be a struggle for us🤣

@YLS2021 @kelvmackenzie Yep agree on that. I would apply a revenue tax as well as a profit tax to stop them moving money offshore. Agree tho that’s an obvious place to go.
