@OfficialGuySam @Jon83989650 I get your point but local AHJ trumps whatever contract you have. And the contract language likely excludes anything to do with your main service connection. You need a 200A service and he said and they’ll unlock the software capping you at 7.7

@madman055 @Jon83989650 Same to ya. Your inability to read the contract that says that it’s supposed to put out a minimum of 10 kW and it does not, contradicts your misguided interpretation.

Tesla replaced my dual broken powerwall 2's with powerwall 3's. Now my system outputs a maximum of 7.7kW total and will not power my house during an outage. I checked the breaker box and they disconnected 30 amps worth of breakers that Tesla originally installed on the powerwalls.
I put in a follow up ticket with powerwallssupportNA@tesla.com and was told that 7.7kW is the maximum output of a powerwall 3 and this is normal. WTF is going on? A single powerwall 3 is capable of 11.5kW output according to the datasheet on Tesla's website.
My original design paperwork with the powerwall 2's from Tesla states they put out 10.0kW continuous and 14.0kW surge. And now upgraded powerwalls are putting out only 50% of that?
This system was broken for 5 months after the technicians installed a bad powerwall and it shorted out and started smoking. Now I can't even use the system as it was designed.
Can I get some help, please? Why did they disconnect the 30 amp breaker and only leave a 50amp breaker? I paid $16,000 for this system because I needed two powerwalls to provide the kW output necessary to power my house during an outage.

@OfficialGuySam @Jon83989650 Sam, this guy just put a lot of effort into explaining what the Tesla letter already states, and you inability to understand it does not make him wrong; regardless of it was previously signed off on
English

@Jon83989650 That’s completely incorrect information. The system would never have been approved after inspection for initially using 80 amps which is nearly 300% what you’re trying to say it’s supposed to be limited to.

@OfAthenry @WeaponScientist I was really confused until I realized this was a single image, and not a side by side comparison.

@madman055 @add0n1 @PatBlanchfield im going to go out on a limb and say that training 6 pilots does not cost 700 million dollars
English

@add0n1 @PatBlanchfield It does if you consider pilot training and salaries. We know at least one will never fly again
English

@PatBlanchfield 3 F-15 strike eagles does not come anywhere close to $1b
English

@BigAbe1863 @OnlyInBOS They are paying down $180 million directly, and if there are cost overruns, the utilities are deferring them interest-free. Didn’t you read it? If $180 million covers it, then there are no deferrals at all.

@King_Kyle @sentdefender we will soon have a bunch of MD11 water tankers from the retired UPS planes.

President Donald J. Trump announces that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be decertifying Bombardier Global Expresses, and all other aircraft made in Canada, until Canada certifies the Gulfstream 500, 600, 700, and 800 Business Jets produced in the United States. Additionally, Trump states that if the issue is not immediately corrected, he will impose a 50% on all Canadian aircraft sold in the United States.
