@BoomtownFair Hi Azealia I just had further long call with the heads of Boomtown and Maiden Voyage , the update is that both festivals feel they no longer have any choice but to write a joint statement taking you off the line-up Both festivals are under spiralling pressure, not just from boycott groups like ravers for palestine, but also from multiple other artists on the bill , partners and sponsors and they are now concerned that their line-ups are going to be decimated should they not remove you Both festivals have implied that were you to walk back or put properly into context some of your recent posts it could change this dynamic and relieve the pressure. I am not here to tell you what to say - you are one of the most articulate people i have ever worked with - but that does not mean people will always understand what you are saying, or treat your words in good faith. The festivals have told me that a statement from you on X that you do care about civilians , women and children being murdered might ease the pressures coming from these groups. I have pushed back on this for days, but ultimately I have run out of negotiating room and can't protect you from the current reality of what is going to happen next .I have obviously told them both this could become a situation for lawyers if the artist is removed . They understand that but feel they have no option but to prevent their events and future additions from being throttled by boycotts
