Positive thinking to fight negativity works in certain contexts, fails in others. Consider depression, which has many causes. 1. If the cause is biological, then positive thinking alone won’t be enough. Poor diet, poor sleep, and genetic predispositions cause it at the hardware level. The brain therefore barely has any energy to operate. Energy is needed to embody spirit. How can positive thinking alone solve that? It can’t. Your spirit might try, but as long as it’s bound to the physical brain, it’s like pressing the gas pedal with no fuel in the tank. So the physical brain/body has to be in good enough condition to “move with” the intentions of spirit. Get enough sleep, nutrition, fresh air, sun, and movement. In that order. 2. If the cause is rooted in circumstance, whether hounding debt problems, horrible relationship, death of a loved one, or loneliness, then your choices are either solve the problem through resourceful action, distract yourself, or find coping mechanisms. This is a purely mainstream issue and there’s a whole industry of products and services oriented toward helping with that. Positive thinking is a coping mechanism in that case, which is bad if it leads to inaction when action is necessary. But it’s good if it produces the inner change needed to take action and attract synchronistic help. 3. If the cause is psychological, like negative beliefs rooted in misunderstanding or shadow/trauma issues, these can indeed be displaced and “outshined” with positive thinking but only if there’s a genuine inner shift and spiritual reconnection, and isn’t just a surface-level lying to yourself (a form of spiritual bypassing). Some people lack the self-examination, self-honesty, and volition to achieve that shift. Instead they hold on to the underlying subconscious malware while slapping a fake smile atop it, which only results in dishonest repression punctuated by moments of vicious snapping. An internal reckoning is then needed to face that deeper problem and commit to genuine reform. If you’re too stubborn to do that yourself, life will bring you a dark night of the soul to force the reckoning. 4. If the underlying problem beliefs are cleverly constructed (implying they were intentionally crafted by nefarious forces) then these can be automatically self-sabotaging when you attempt positive thinking. For example, the belief “I’m a bad person. I don’t deserve to be happy. I feel guilty when I’m happy” can immediately trigger feeling guilty, sad, and terrible about yourself. Hence you first need to disarm these booby traps through analysis, self-work, and healing before proceeding. Just watch out that such self-work doesn’t become an addiction, i.e. something you’re always working on while secretly having no genuine intentions of giving up the victim card that brings you false identity, purpose, and specialness. 5. Another form of resistance is external occult opposition. This kind will induce nightmares, accidents, injuries, misfortunes, or scary paranormal events when you try to become more positive. It’s because you’re so firmly in its grip that when you try to wiggle out, you’re still within smackdown range and so the entity has to hit you hard while it still has a chance. Its bluff is making you think the entity is omnipotent, that the harder you fight the more you get punished, so just give up and stay in your cage. The real solution is to get out of that victim mode mentally, put your foot down, and keep pushing until you are mentally/emotionally out of its range. Takes several days minimum, more a few weeks. Only when you feel different and your “reactivity profile” (temperament, trigger points) have naturally shifted, have you actually moved out of its “vibrational” range. So positive thinking works if the problem isn’t solely physiological, isn’t automatically self-sabotaging with attempts at positive thinking, and if you manage to genuinely shift internally over time. There’s a narrow range where the requirements are met. People can easily point to the failure cases outside that range and say positive thinking is just New Age hogwash. But that’s their ego finding a convenient excuse to stay in dysfunction. Positive thinking done right is necessary and good. It’s about coming back to your spiritual nature, shifting your center of mass from the lower to the higher part of you. It’s about remembering truths despite the facts. Facts are perceived immutables of the past, but the future is open and freewill enters via the present. Freewill means choosing the future in spite of the past, not because of it. The key requirement is moving at the deeper inner level, the part that determines your character, temperament, reactivity profile, and natural mindset. It’s called the subconscious, but really it’s your etheric & astral bodies with a bit of epigenetics. To do this, you must make the choice and have the energy to needed to follow through; with neither choice nor energy, nothing will change.

This is how hackers steal your account. I get an email, that looks official from what looks like an "official" X account (appeal63-x@appealitem-x.com). I click on the link - and it takes me to what appears to be an official page with a complaint and a image of a post, with a suspension and a note stating I can appeal, by clicking on the link. It then wants my password to continue. This is all VERY professionally done. Mimicking the real process for X. I do not put in my password, but immediately go to grok and verify that this is a bogus email and website site address. If I had fallen for it - my account would now be controlled by who knows and I would be locked out. Be careful out there folks.
