While the world argues over oil routes, geopolitics, and who controls what… Electric trucks are quietly getting on with the job. Very quietly compared to diesel truck. That’s because a Tesla Semi just covered 585 miles in a single day. It drove 292 miles, charged at 750kW for just 45 minutes to top up and drove from Stockton to Bakersfield and back without missing a beat. That 45 minutes… The truck couldn’t be driven anyway without swapping drivers, leaving a driver 290 miles away. No diesel. No fumes. No drama. This is what people don’t seem to grasp… The shift isn’t some future concept. It’s already happening. At scale. In the real world. And while headlines focus on conflict and fuel supply risks, electric is doing what it does best: ➡️ Moving goods ➡️ Reducing costs ➡️ Cutting emissions ➡️ Improving driver experience No waiting around for the “perfect time” to transition. Because there never is one. The companies that move first…win.

The US broke the all-time heat record for March. Yes, it’s climate change. An unprecedented heat wave in the West broke the record for the hottest March temperature anywhere in the United States: 108 degrees. It’s an alarming signal of how hot the planet is getting and how fast it’s happening. edition.cnn.com/2026/03/20/wea…

Overpaying for a full tank of petrol, and then only 20-30% of it moves the wheels, is hilarious. Not enough people are mad about this, and too many defend it with their lives…for FREE!

My dad fitted solar panels a few years ago. He runs his house, electric car and sells electricity back to the grid. He’s in energy surplus. If these had been mandatory on new builds 10 years ago we’d be whistling Dixie now.

You can’t afford a coal mine. You can’t afford a gas turbine. You can’t afford an oil rig. Only fossil fuel states and billionaires can. But you can afford a solar power station on your roof. Now, ask yourself why you encounter so much anti-renewable energy propaganda.

This is for all the human induced climate change deniers asking for proof or evidence that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas (something we have known since the 1800s). CO2 slows energy loss to space.

Trump tried to stop solar and wind in the US 🇺🇸. He failed spectacularly. 99,2% of new net capacity in America in 2026 is expected to be renewables, with battery capacity. If this happens solar, wind, hydro and other renewables will be equal to natural gas as the biggest source of electricity in the US. Far ahead of coal or any other source. Solar capacity grew 34% last year. Battery storage added 50%. Coal production declined substantially. All renewables combined are now 26% of US electricity. And what state is leading the charge?? Texas - a deep Republican state. So much for Trump. He can speak and act against renewables. He can not uninvent solar panels or wind blades. He can not stop the American people`s desire for clean power. lnkd.in/dhPbmkBi

I’ve had a policy since day one of not blocking anyone. That was back when there was genuine debate. No longer. I’m here to talk EVs with people who are interested in them, not bots, trolls, and halfwits. And I still don’t follow accounts that talk politics. That won’t change.

Many people regurgitate incorrect info about #EV ownership. if your serious about EV, listen to the owners that do, those that live #rural areas. or have had EVs for a long time. (i am exclusive EV for a decade) and get real world info. and ask questions youtu.be/s6w-fqGST_8?si…

Turns out fossil gas (aka "natural" gas) is extremely intermittent and unreliable, and batteries cannot help firm it. The sun rises and the wind blows every day. Free of charge. bloomberg.com/news/features/…

When a family sized SUV can destroy a £200k V12, it’s no wonder we now have so many fragile men spreading lies about electric cars. Their manliness is tied to what used to be fast cars, full of “soul”. Now they get destroyed by a Hyundai.

Solar panel and battery installers are likely to be the busiest they've ever been over the next few months. Anyone who can afford it will be sprinting to insulate themselves from the mad energy prices likely next winter.

@Ben_Davison1 You’ll struggle to find another country where workers drive new cars, own houses & then can't retire before 70 because of spiralling debt thanks to an inept government
