It drove 292 miles, charged at 750kW for just 45 minutes to top up and drove from Stockton to Bakersfield and back without missing a beat.
That 45 minutes…
The truck couldn’t be driven anyway without swapping drivers, leaving a driver 290 miles away.
No diesel. No fumes. No drama.
This is what people don’t seem to grasp…
The shift isn’t some future concept.
It’s already happening. At scale. In the real world.
And while headlines focus on conflict and fuel supply risks, electric is doing what it does best:

➡️ Improving driver experience
No waiting around for the “perfect time” to transition.

My dad fitted solar panels a few years ago. He runs his house, electric car and sells electricity back to the grid. He’s in energy surplus. If these had been mandatory on new builds 10 years ago we’d be whistling Dixie now.

Trump tried to stop solar and wind in the US 🇺🇸. He failed spectacularly.
99,2% of new net capacity in America in 2026 is expected to be renewables, with battery capacity.
If this happens solar, wind, hydro and other renewables will be equal to natural gas as the biggest source of electricity in the US. Far ahead of coal or any other source.
Solar capacity grew 34% last year. Battery storage added 50%. Coal production declined substantially. All renewables combined are now 26% of US electricity.
And what state is leading the charge?? Texas - a deep Republican state.
So much for Trump. He can speak and act against renewables. He can not uninvent solar panels or wind blades. He can not stop the American people`s desire for clean power.

Turns out fossil gas (aka "natural" gas) is extremely intermittent and unreliable, and batteries cannot help firm it.
