One of my favorite bits in yakuza 4 is how it’s questioned by everyone how Akiyama could constantly give out massive loans with no interest and still keeping his business up. Then it’s revealed that there is no trick to he just literally has 100 billion yen in his office.

@JaeGamez Trekking across the crimson desert after the crazy dragon quest. Finally find a camp. “Oh good maybe a vendor”. Talk to npc. “I think someone has stolen something”. Goddammit.

I love Crimson Desert but… The investigation quests are easily the worst part the game, BY FAR! They’re so BORING!!! 😮‍💨 You’re literally just going from point to point enduring boring dialogue and then you get quizzed at the end 🤦🏽‍♂️ As if I’ve been listening! I either do trial and error or I look up the answers because I seriously cba. I honestly think these quests could be removed from the game entirely and it would only further enhance the experience 🤷🏽‍♂️

@NikTek I mean AC is that. I like the newer AC games okay but CD is shining a light on how lazy they are.

I've been wondering, if Ubisoft made a carbon copy of Crimson Desert (same story, no microtransactions, same characters, same open world and gameplay mechanics) Do you think gamers would love it or would they be more critical of it just because Ubisoft made it?

@terminallyOL The game reminded me a lot of Valhalla in the beginning which I also liked, but design here is so much better and more rewarding. Half the time I’m not even chasing markers but pursuing something organically.

it was like, five or six years ago, i wanna say when AC valhalla came out, that a game map like this would have been called "ubislop trash" and "junk to fill up an open world" so i'm just kind of confused as to why this is raising the bar and good now

I’m 70 hours into Crimson Desert now. Still in Hernand, Chapter 5. This feels like a game that I will be playing for maybe another month or two at this rate. I’ve never played a game before where 70 hours in still feels like its “early game”, its crazy.

J'ai entendu dire que les PNJ dans Crimson Desert faisaient juste le minimum. Je peux te confirmer que non. Il y a bien un cycle pour pas mal de PNJ qui est extrêmement cohérent, à la Red Dead Redemption 2. Je voulais me rendre à l'église un dimanche matin, et ben voilà comment
