A rule change pushed by White House officials would slash benefits or end support for as many as 400,000 Supplemental Security Income recipients with Down syndrome, dementia and other disabilities whose parents or relatives receive SNAP benefits. propublica.org/article/trump-…

@austinpshh @BayAreaBrennan I’m so glad society has finally seemed to turn the corner on this type of shit lol. Now normal people can drag this fuck and he just has to sit there and endure it if he hopes to receive his good boy points. Stupidity demands a price, and I’m glad the bill finally hit the table

@WWE @_trickwilliams @lilyachty See as someone completely disconnected from the product I can appreciate the campiness of this, but I’m sure as hell not tuning in. I kind of feel like this might be throwing in the towel.

"I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. What logical reason is there to not do this?" It's illegal according to the CBA and labor laws.
Trevor Bauer (トレバー・バウアー)@BauerOutage

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

This is what a man desperate for a job does. @TheDA53 and I discussed @BauerOutage on the show this week. I do find it surprising that nobody has given him even a whiff of an opportunity. David is less surprised. See our entire off-air conversation on our YouTube Channel where David had plenty to say about Trevor Bauer. youtu.be/hxEmYTL3DHE

Stephen Miller’s broken promise that mass deportations would equal jobs for gringo workers is now peer-reviewed. Removing migrants actually lost jobs for the native born workforce. migrantinsider.com/p/stephen-mill…

@David_J_Bier I wonder why they beat him? Was he cooperating? That is the key…cooperate and sue later, there is plenty of time to sue and it is feels better if you aren’t beat up.

ICE pulled a gun on a NY teenager, beat him, and then realized they got the wrong guy. Like other cases targeting citizens, ICE dumped him in a random location far from his home, bloody and injured.

Nasty injuries in this attack. NBC4 NY interviewed the victim: x.com/TheJFreakinC/s…
Jesus Freakin Congress@TheJFreakinC

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents were filmed pulling a gun on, violently assaulting, and kidnapping a TEENAGER… who turned out to be a U.S. born citizen… in the Bronx. Armed federal agents jumped a teenager walking down the street… pointing a gun at him from behind, ordered him to stop, and violently tackled him BEFORE even confirming who he was. By the time they finally handcuffed him, his face was covered in blood. AFTER they drove away, they finally asked for his ID and cellphone… only to realize they grabbed the wrong person. A U.S. citizen. So, instead of taking responsibility for assaulting and kidnapping a teenager, they dumped him in a random unfamiliar area… while he was still bleeding from his head. His mother then had to take him to the hospital, where he needed FOUR stitches in his head. This is what happens when a government agency starts acting like constitutional rights are optional. The Fourth Amendment protects people from unlawful searches and seizures. The Fifth Amendment guarantees due process. And last time I checked, being a POC in the Bronx is not probable cause. ICE keeps claiming these are “mistakes.” Funny how the mistakes always seem to involve guns, blood, terrified families, and citizens being treated like disposable suspects. If armed agents can throw a U.S. born TEENAGER onto concrete at gunpoint, beat him bloody before even confirming his identity, and then dump the injured TEENAGER in an unfamiliar area after realizing they grabbed the wrong person… Then this isn’t immigration enforcement anymore.

A year after Dave Chappelle invoked a trans comedian Daphne in his comedy special she committed suicide and he still made jokes about her being a man in his follow up on Netflix. Him acting now like he was simply misunderstood is grotesque
Variety@Variety

Dave Chappelle says the media gets his trans jokes “wrong,” urging audiences to account for a “margin of error” when watching his sets: “People would think it’s me vs. the gay community. I never looked at it like that,” Chappelle said. “I always thought it was corporate interest and culture negotiating itself. So, you know, most of those people who were critical of what I was doing didn’t seem like they were of it. It’s like they had their faces pressed against the glass, commenting on what we were doing in there, but they weren’t in there doing it.” “Every opinion you can think of is represented in a comedy club. Every type of person you can imagine does stand-up comedy—transgender stand-up comics, Black, white, Asian, every kind of perspective. And we all champion whatever opinion we champion. We would never think to silence one another.” “Nothing makes a comedian madder than reading his joke wrong in the paper,” Chappelle added. “You know, and reading a joke is nothing like hearing one or being one, and the intention of a comedy show is a very unique intention. We are playing with whatever the culture is made of, and we break it down and we get it right or we get it wrong. But in all art, if it’s going to be good or even hopefully great, you gotta have a margin of error.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/d…
