Oklahoma State Superintendent candidate Robert Franklin (R) said in a debate that DEI is a “biblical principle” and refuses to stand against it. He also recommended a book called “Separation of Church and Hate” which says Christianity was hijacked by the right and promotes abortion and LGBTQ. Franklin was a registered Democrat a few years ago. His election is in a few weeks. Oklahoma, don’t let this liberal run your schools!

Tricking the US Government to protect frontier labs’ business model by using a China boogeyman is a mistake. It is protecting the equity of 5,000 people who are investors in OAI and Ant at the sale of everyone else. This would be a terribly stupid decision. Let the market sort this out! The events of the past few weeks may simply mean that the frontier labs’ business model is not good and that their revenues aren’t sustainable. That’s ok. It’s ok to have a business model that worked for some time then all of a sudden didn’t (remember Groupon)! This still leaves a lot of value for a lot of other American companies: - CPUs - GPUs - hyperscalers - neoclouds - rack manufacturers - electricity and power - skilled trades - application layer AI None of this value goes away. In fact, if the model layers’ costs decrease by 10-100x, competition would accelerate and I would argue that the value to everyone else will go up more than what is lost. Let the free market sort this out vs allowing two companies whose stock is owned by less than 5,000 people decide this for America.

Don't personally know Bryson or Rory but been around both many times, at many PGA Tour events. Bryson is a super nice guy, little awkward at times, but friendly to everyone. Rory is the biggest dick on tour, including Tiger. And it's not even close. His whole persona is totally fake. Just a total ass behind the scenes. Ask Steve Elkington.

I was watching this interview with a few of the other players and as soon as he said “I think he’s performative, I think it’s all for attention” we all looked at each other and said “that didn’t look right”. We’ll see if the R&A has the stones to enforce their own rules. Seems unlikely.

Sam Burns, leader of The Open after 3 rounds, says his personal opinion is that there wasn’t enough evidence to assess a penalty on Bryson. But the 20 handicaps who play top flites and take 5 foot gimmies will tell you that you don’t know the rules of golf if you agree with him.

It's so diabolical how much the Golf Media hates HOW Bryson DeChambeau handles his game, his life, his availabilities. The Olds/Legends HATE that he doesn't fall in line like everyone else. If you want him to talk to the media and treat you with respect, maybe don't drag him through the bunker every time he is on the TV screen ... there is a CLEAR line drawn between Scheffler/McIllroy and DeChambeau from all of the Commentators Nobody gives a damn what the commentators think about Bryson's YouTube presence. Treat him with respect, and he'll partake in extracurriculars
