This is why PR diff speed matters. This isn't a dunk on GitHub specifically, because GitLab, Forgejo, etc. are all equal or worse. But this is the kind of thing that drives me nuts, because this is a core workflow and its slow enough I literally take my hands off the keyboard. Btw, when my mouse jiggles on the left, its because the page is literally skipping frames and I'm instinctively shaking my mouse to see if it'll respond. And on the keyboard input you can literally here me finish typing before a letter even shows up. For someone like me who is an expert at these tools, my brain navigates the tool dramatically faster than it can keep up, and that is not good. The tool should not get in the way.

It’s gonna be abundantly clear which teams understand what is being gained and how to gain it and who is thinking “we should try this too! 13 personnel seems to work” like a fan
Bill Barnwell@billbarnwell

New column: The Rams dramatically changed their offense in midseason last year by going to three tight ends. That worked for them but didn't really work for everyone else. Now, with an offseason to prep, will the league have more success out of 13 in 2026? espn.com/nfl/story/_/id…

@aonbc1 @2HighCoverage I'm not convinced oronde can block in-line, so I think he'll only be out there in 11 if it's a _clear_ passing down

@jasonkatz13 @RyanJ_Heath ya definitely possible. But Parker is 5'10 and played primarily in the slot post-meyers trade / post-hunter injury (which is when his ascension really started iirc). But obv I recognize that his 11 personnel usage doesn't _necessarily_ dictate whether he plays in 2 WR sets as Z)

@mmstroik97 @RyanJ_Heath I truly don't know and am not claiming to know. But I don't think it should be dismissed as a possibility that Jakobi is the X and Parker is the Z.

I admit to having been Parker Washington-curious for a lot of this offseason, but it feels like any real usage for Hunter on offense would mean Washington is below ~60% route participation. (In other words, not fantasy-relevant.) I could see myself being into Washington as a risk/reward swing for managed leagues, come August. But I'm probably going to pass where he's going on the best ball sites right now.

Jags GM James Gladstone says Travis Hunter is "absolutely not" done playing both sides of the ball, despite sustaining a season-ending injury 👀 (via @RichEisenShow)

@jasonkatz13 @RyanJ_Heath I doubt BTJ is third in the pecking order, but even if he is, going off of traditional positional designations, the X receiver usually has the lowest odds of being the one who comes off the field (unless he's like *by far* the WR3 in the pecking order which seems very unlikely)

@RyanJ_Heath Are we sure that Brian Thomas isn't definitively third in the pecking order and any Hunter snaps would come at his expense with Parker and Jakobi being the stalwarts in two receiver sets?

Actual evidence on Waymo shows that it would save lives of pedestrians of all ages and races. But studies that different tech in different setting has biases that may or may not make a difference in collision avoidance are considered a good enough argument against its deployment
Timothy B. Lee@binarybits

Moreover, as @AVGregR points out, Waymo's vehicles have lidar sensors that detect people and objects by bouncing lasers off of them. Studying vision models doesn't tell you anything about whether lidar sensors will miss people of color or children.

@eigenrobot @ashrafwkhalil just because A argues "you don't deserve what you have, therefore I can take it from you" doesn't mean the correct refutation is "actually I deserve it"

It’s become a standard leftist view that Trumpism was a backlash to Obama not being socialist enough and I… don’t think that’s what happened lol
The Lever@LeverNews

How did America go from Obama to Trump? Maine Senate candidate @grahamformaine tells @davidsirota it wasn’t some great mystery: Democrats bailed out banks, abandoned working people, and let corporate power keep running the party. Go and listen to the full episode over on The Lever's Youtube channel.

word to the wise: if you ever respond to a single question from Wes Yang, he will ignore your actual response and then tag you every other day in rant threads presenting deranged strawmen this is obsession, not Principled Heterodoxy, and it merits no respect
Wesley Yang@wesyang

They can just bring @tracewoodgrains in as an expert witness to explain that Harvey Marceline really was a woman when he was pretending to be one, and thus no harm was done to the female prison guard forced to strip search him. x.com/Cici_RNinNYC/s…
