@SawyerMerritt @MatthewDR Rivian and Lucid are unlikely to get under $50,000 by the time the fund is exhausted. Tesla will already take the vast majority of the pool. The carve out is surely meant to allow a handful of Lucid and Rivian sales, as that's about all they sell anyhow.

California Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation today creating a new state point-of-sale rebate that gives all first-time EV buyers $3,500 off a new electric vehicle. • $3,500 off new EVs with an MSRP up to $50,000 • $1,750 off used EVs sold for up to $25,000 • The rebate is open to any Californian buying their first ZEV, regardless of their income level. If a ZEV automaker is headquartered in California as of Jan 1, 2026, there are no price limits. The rebate initiative carries a total budget of $270 million, with funding coming from both the state budget and automakers.

@tesla_raj @aelluswamy My GF has an AI4 Y (I do as well). We're on the same version. She doesn't get driveway option at her house, but I do (at her house).

@ChuckCook @cybercab Only if they use the ones with a brake pedal. NHTSA proposal to remove that requirement isnoy a final rule. Just a proposal which is now open for public comment.

With the advent of the newly released First Responders guide for the @Cybercab, it feels like a Cybercab launch is immenent. What are the thoughts on the date that would have been chosen for the launch? My guess is before the end of June to claim 1H 26. Other thoughts could be 4 July. Or maybe its not even that close? What are some other thoughts on timing?

Telegram is not a Russian app LOL. I so genuinely love and enjoy how stupid Laura is. She hasn’t been this hot on the trail since she accused me of fleeing to Italy with a group of Podcasters to hide our profits from the SPLC at the Vatican bank. (That one still ranks number 1 on my Larry Loomer schizophrenic musings) Anybody with a higher IQ want to help this detective work through why someone might suddenly download the Telegram app before entering Russia? Or should we see how far she takes her mental disorder for fun? I’m leaning toward the latter.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

NEW: I just got this notification that Candace Owens joined Telegram. A lot of people use Telegram. It’s a Russian encrypted messaging app that lets you delete and hide your communications with timed deletions. Interesting how Candace Owens joined Telegram right before she heads to Russia to speak at a state sponsored conference with Putin, Dugin, and multiple sanctioned Russian oligarchs and Duma members. Why does Candace Owens want to conceal her communications with the Russians? Why not use Signal? Why not use WhatsApp or iMessage? She downloaded the Russian encrypted messaging app BEFORE she heads to Russia after lying to her audience and saying this is a “family vacation”. I thought she had nothing to hide? Looks like she has a lot to hide… which is why she wants to use Russian encrypted apps while she’s in Russia. It would be one thing if she already had Telegram, but she just downloaded it days BEFORE traveling to Russia, an active War zone that is currently listed as a Travel 4 Advisory “Do not travel” country by the US State Department. @StateDept @USTreasury

Delta rejected adopting SpaceX's @Starlink on its fleet because it wanted to provide internet connectivity to passengers via the Delta Sync portal, instead of the Starlink-branded portal. Delta has since chosen to partner with Amazon's LEO. This will result in Delta falling behind many of its competitors in offering high-speed WiFi onboard, as many other carriers are already offering or installing Starlink, whereas Amazon's LEO airplane WiFi for Delta is still a couple year away (or more). Satellites currently in orbit: • SpaceX's Starlink: 10,400 • Amazon's LEO: 300 (Delta rejection info according to Ron Baron)

Our baby, Kona, passed away quietly this morning. We think it was a heart attack, but one moment she was there, the next she wasn't. We are all devastated by her sudden loss. Thanks for your good thoughts. 💔

@DillonLoomis Unless Figure's CEO was lying, that looked way more impressive than Optimus V2.5. Why have a robotaxi service in Austin if it's near impossible to get a ride? Really makes them look bad. It's been a long time since the debut.

I'm realizing more and more the reason some Tesla followers seem to be disillusioned with the company is because they genuinely do not understand a majority of the next-gen tech Tesla is working on You cannot appreciate and get excited about that which you cannot comprehend

Question for my friends in 2nd & 3rd tier cities where Tesla is unlikely to deploy in the first few rounds, are you looking to buy one or more of these to fill the needs in your community?

More Cybercabs around Giga Texas today, one at the W Superchargers and 4 at Crash Testing early in the morning with some frost on the top & windshield. Progress getting ready for the April beginning of volume production seems to be going very well!

@herbertong You clearly missed the latter half of the call where Elon said they could just stick steering wheels and pedals in the cars. Yall are hilarious.

Elon Musk on Cybercab: “It does not have a steering wheel, or pedals. There’s no fallback mechanism. This car either drives itself, or it does not drive. We expect to start production in April.” That’s a bold, all-in bet on autonomy 🔥 $TSLA
