We are not comparing circumstances, but the fear and helplessness families experience when institutions do not act in time is something we are living with @SCofIndia @pushkardhami @narendramodi @narendramodi_in @PMOIndia @PMOIndia_RC @rashtrapatibhvn @VPIndia @AishwaryaRai @smritiirani @medhanarmada @pbhushan1 @ArunaRoy2 After my father passed away, I returned to Uttarakhand with my young children to safeguard our ancestral property. When I realized my late father's POA was being misused, I thought I was stepping into a legal process. Instead, I stepped into four years of administrative limbo. Here’s what that looks like in real life: • Complaints of land fraud and illegal encroachments — yet repeated difficulty getting FIRs registered. @ukcmo @UKDVolunteers @uttarakhandcops • Swift action taken against us on weak grounds, while our formal complaints remain pending @uttarakhandcops • A development authority issued frivolous notices on our land, Yet after several explanations that we are not builders/promoters the development authority issued a demolition order — we accepted them to demolish everything illegal out of absolute hopelessness — but 9 months later, the same authority hasn’t executed its own orders. Instead, new overlapping proceedings keep appearing @ias_rawat @ukcmo • Mutations and approvals moving forward in disputed situations, while legal heir matters stall. • Requests for land record subdivisions going unanswered The result? You are not allowed to move forward. You are not allowed to resolve it. You are just kept… stuck. And when procedures don’t end, pressure becomes the tool. This is the part people don’t see: We are an all-women family, including senior citizens. I paused my career abroad and moved my children during a time of grief just to ensure our safety and legal protection. The emotional toll of fighting systems instead of problems is something no document captures. I didn't expect this of India and of BJP Governance in my state of Uttarakhand @narendramodi @OfficeofDhami @pushkardhami Let me be very clear: We are not resisting the law. We have said in writing — if anything on our land is illegal, demarcate it and demolish it. What we are asking for is due process, transparency, and closure — not endless pendency.@IASDeepakRawat1 We want Pradhikaran to stop harassing our family unnecessarily. This is an open invite- Come, demarcate everythign illegal on our land and demolish it but please end the frivolous notices and unnecessary cases by Pradhikaran which clearly seem to be used as a tool for inhibiting our land sales and harassing senior citizens in our family. @narendramodi This isn’t just about one family or one piece of land. It’s about what happens when citizens follow the process… and the process never finishes.
