This is a really shallow way of thinking. You can build really fast electron apps and really slow app kit ones. I built a codex clone in native code and ported to electron to GAIN perf because text rendering is so hard to get right. Never could make scroll work nice in appkit. Just comes for free with electron. That’s why native devs like @Dimillian are using web tech for their coding apps.
