They literally scrubbed "renewable" from the name. - 248 NREL staff laid off. A 72% budget cut on the table. - DOE's 2026 budget request: zero dollars for solar, wind, hydrogen, and renewable grid research. - $7.5b in clean energy awards canceled in a single day last October. The White House called it cutting "Green New Scam funds." Coe is not just some staffer. He's not some foot soldier caught in capitalism. He's the guy at the fucking-us-all-over wheel of an engine that hands our money to fossil fuel giants and kills the industries that would actually keep us alive. We see you, Carl.
