73% of individual workers make less than $75k a year. That's the bottom 50% of tax payers. If major corporations or the top 1% of earners pay the full share of the bottom 50% payroll taxes, the masses could get behind it. Is Bezos willing to do that? Otherwise, an extra 3% doesn't really move the needle.

@atrupar Zero taxes for the bottom 50% is anyone that makes less than $75k now. If the companies or top 10% also share the burden of payroll taxes then I think the masses would get behind this. Last count was around 73% of individual workers make less than that.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

Ken's got $1.5 billion in real estate in NY. compared to Chicago, where the property tax is 150% higher, he's getting a bargain even with this extra tax. But Unfair? New Yorkers are still paying property taxes - 1% of market value, where the going rate is $1,400 per square foot. In a city where real estate is valued at $1.5 trillion, the question is why can't the city allocate 1% of that money better? That's roughly $15 billion... minus the free grocery stores that aren't paying property taxes it seems.

Interesting activity in the PUTS of $MSTR which could go to Zero if this new stock offering $STRC doesn't pan out . As for Strategy's PUTS, going out to March of next year with this current price as strike, you'd rake in 25% yield on writing them. Hell, you'd get 6% going out to just next month. I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible.
