The reality here is Ken Paxton can win Texas. But the lift to get him across the finish line will take money away from Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, and other states. It'll be a pyrrhic victory for the GOP.

I think Ken Paxton will be fine in a general election. He's won statewide before. He's a fighter in a state that likes them tough. James Talarico is weird and isn’t manly enough for Texas.

He doesn’t want national money being diverted to Texas if Paxton wins. Would this be the same standard if Cornyn wins or is he advocating for a different set of money allocation if the voters do not agree with the party elites?

Ben Domenech just said the dumbest thing possible on the news. Basically said if Paxton wins no money should be given to help him defeat Talarico. Ben doesn’t care that a 4 time incumbent wasted over $100 million on a primary he isn’t winning. This kind of elitist thinking is exactly why Cornyn is losing. Respect the will of the voters.
