Mel had the most impressive career at @Nike for 17 years (a tenure length that's unheard of!) then transitioned to VC by kickstarting NEXT alongside Lance Armstrong. A recently published analysis looked at over 2.2M people across 37 studies to understand how cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF)—with VO₂ max as the best proxy—affects all-cause mortality risk. In detail: • People with the highest fitness levels (67th percentile and above) had a 45% lower risk of dying from any cause (!) • When measured by METs, the result was nearly identical—44% lower risk • Even a modest gain—1 additional MET—was tied to an 11% reduction in mortality And it didn’t matter who you were: the effect held across age, sex, and study design. CRF/VO₂ max is one of the single largest attributable factors to human mortality and has a profound impact on longevity.

The first available feature is the Sleep Score. It analyzes various aspects of a user’s sleep, including REM, Deep, Light, and Awake stages, along with HRV, RHR, respiration, and body temperature, to provide a comprehensive sleep assessment.
